Welcome to our charming and completely remodeled 1-bedroom, 2-bath townhouse in the heart of the Valley of Juneau, Alaska! The modern and updated master bathroom, calls for relaxation. The sleek and stylish sanctuary features a soaking tub and a tiled shower. After a day of exploring, unwind in the comfortable living area, catch up on your favorite shows on the picture frame TV, or curl up with a good book or prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances, cookware, and utensils. Enjoy your creations at the bar, or step outside to the spacious patio space and savor your meal amidst the refreshing Alaskan air. Beautiful place to stay, we would recommend and would stay there again!
This is a darling one bedroom duplex. The adjoining neighbors were quiet. We passed each other once during our week stay. The kitchen is nicely setup. There is no washer or dryer in the home but we knew that from the description on Airbnb. We found that downloading items from or uploading on to the Internet where a little slow but if you just need it to check emails or read a web page it worked great. The home was clean and comfortable. We would consider staying there again. Thank you.
Icey Blue was as described and exactly as the photos. I loved cooking in the kitchen and lounging on the comfortable couch. The smart-TV was user friendly. The bathrooms were so clean! I loved the closet where I stored my clothing for the 2 weeks that I was there. The supermarket was a 7 min Uber ride or a 26 min walk. Ice Blue is a great place to stay for a short or a long period of time. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. Downtown was a 30 min Uber ride. There is a lot to see as a tourist: took a helicopter ride and a walk on the ice field, hiking, museums, whale watching, tour to see Shrine of Saint Therese, eagle beach, and Auke bay are amongst the attractions I took in. If you want to stay in a home away from home in Juneau Ice Blue is the perfect place. I will definitely return next year for a month or two. Thank you Issie (host) and Michele (co-host).
An additional review. I was originally going to stay one week and then booked another week. I am glad that i did. Icey Blue was so comfortable and clean. I did not want to return home. Icey Blue is close to the airport, supermarkets and hiking and a quick Uber ride to downtown. I enjoyed my time there and will return next year.
This place was great. Our trip consisted of whale watching, lots of hiking, glacier viewing, and just touring around the area. The house was so conveniently located between Auke Bay and Juneau that we would go do whatever in the morning, come back to the house for a bit of relaxation, then head back out for some more activities. It was also close to Costco, which we stopped at to grab breakfast and easy dinners when we didn’t want to go out to eat. The kitchen was well equipped and the area was nice to lounge/relax in.
