This is a rare, southern oasis hidden in New Orleans' most charming neighborhood. These 2 houses are connected by a secret garden, heated saltwater pool, and built-in hot tub in a lush, private yard. Tucked away on a quiet residential street in the Marigny, they’re just a short walk to the French Quarter and perfect for hosting families. Each house is darling, renovated to feature its woodwork, stained glass windows, original hardwood flooring, and whimsical hand-painted murals. The houses share a gorgeous and large tropical backyard with a large heated pool and hot tub, ideal for spending time outside together. Each house has its own full kitchen and is equipped independently. Various living rooms and seating, lounge areas invite to gather and share stories. We have curated our interiors from antique furniture gathered from all over the country to create a unique and comfortable feeling of home. Each bedroom features a bit of modern luxury with Casper mattresses, a seating area, plush down comforters and pillows for a good night’s sleep - 9 bedrooms - 8 full bathrooms - Comfortably sleeps 18+ - Total of 3,000 sq ft shared between the two homes - Backyard with brand new heated pool, hot tub and grill area - Plenty of desktop areas available to get work done - Smart TVs in each bedroom and living rooms - Bluetooth speaker, high-speed internet, and central air conditioning/heat - Large chef's kitchen complete with high-quality pots, pans & knives, Vitamix blender, espresso machine, drip coffee, and eclectic cookbook collection - Bath products, fresh towels, and hairdryer are provided for your convenience - Fresh linens, towels, paper products, and cleaning products are also provided - On-site washer/dryer, iron & ironing board - Free street parking

As advertised, this place was beautiful and comfortably housed all 16 of us. Loved hanging out by the pool in the lushly landscaped, spacious backyard. The artfully curated interior aesthetic was stunning and there was plenty of room to spread out - particularly nice to have two separate houses to give separate spaces for groups in your party. Close walk to Frenchman and right next door to the neighborhood spots in Marigny.
This is honestly the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in in the United States, by a mile. The place was immaculate upon arrival, looked even better than the photos (which was hard to do), and the decor was beautiful and full of character. Everything in the house worked, including the amazing pool and hot tub, and had plenty of amenities. Marcia was clear and helpful in her communications ahead of time, and we had plenty of privacy while we were there. Now if that wasn't enough, the location was absolutely perfect - a few blocks from Frenchmen Street and only a little farther to the French Quarter. It was close to all the touristy parts without being in the middle of them, which was awesome. Overall, absolutely PERFECT place for a group or large family traveling to New Orleans.
Beautiful home in the Marigny neighborhood. The backyard is gorgeous, peaceful, and private. The home is beautiful and a true New Orleans experience. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Frenchmen St is also close by with several places to hear live jazz. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood, but admittedly didn’t walk super late at night. Rooms toward the street did get some noise from passerbys on the sidewalk and were also most exposed to the train whistle that does go off during the night. Bring earplugs/white noise if you’re a light sleeper. We had two cars with our group and had no issues with street parking. The kitchen was not as well stocked with basic tools needed to cook as we’d hoped, but for the most part we were able to improvise and get by. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The house is safely and conveniently located in the Faubourg Marigny, the second oldest neighborhood of the city. It’s just a short walk to Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter. The Marigny is hip, charming, walkable, and filled with artisanal shops, cafes, bars, boutique hotels, wine shops, and many of New Orleans’ best restaurants. It’s a short walk to the only riverfront views of the Mississippi River, Jackson Square, most of the city’s live jazz, and the local French Market.
The area is safe to walk around and has many excellent eateries, bustling local bars, cute cafes, and unique shops. Taxis or rideshares are also great ways to get around. Bike rental shops are available in the vicinity and is a fun way to traverse the city. Distance to the following:
French Quarter: 15 minutes by walking
Frenchmen Street: 15 minutes by walking
Robert's Grocery: 10 minute by walking
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport: 25 minutes by car
Convention Center: 12 minutes by car
