Escape the city for a tranquil weekend by the sea, the perfect hideaway to unwind. With views of golden sand dunes, a spot where you can relax to the sound of crashing waves & plenty of wildlife. In 15 mins, walk to an untouched beach, hike to Cape Liptrap lighthouse, or drive 1.5 hrs to Wilson's Prom. Otherwise, nestle in & enjoy a cozy wood-burning fire. Features: front porch, spacious deck, bath, modern kitchen, outdoor fire pit, bath, 3 large comfortable bedrooms with a WFH set-up. Get cozy in front of the indoor and outdoor fires, we provide wood and materials you need to get it roaring. Enjoy the light filled home with high ceilings and large rooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a queen bed, third bedroom has 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4) and we have a 2 x single trundle beds available upon request.

cosy house, perfect for 8 people. indoor and outdoor fire pits were the real winners. plenty of fire wood to last days. beth is ultra responsive. better to go in the hotter months to get a better experience with venus bay beaches.
We loved our stay. Very relaxing home and location. Great for living indoors and outdoors.
Our stay at Venus bay was purely amazing. Beth’s place allowed us to feel welcome and right at home, thanks to a warm and well furnished home. During our stay the weather was a bit crazy, with a lot of rain and wind, but the house allowed us to relax and still enjoy our time. The house is furnished in extreme detail, starting from the carpet and beds, down to the vinyl player, candles and blankets. There house is surrounded by nature and wildlife, with only a short walk from the beach.
We absolutely loved our stay at Beth’s gorgeous place over the Easter weekend. Such a lovely, spacious home, beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches - we particularly loved the DVD collection and board games! An easy stroll into the village for fish & chips or coffee and the kitchen was a dream to cook in. The kids were delighted with the bunk beds and quirky toys. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for hosting us! We will definitely be back! xx
Beths place was an absolute delight. The home was warm and homely with beautiful hints of vintage mixed in with the new. All the comforts you would expect from a 5 star home. The home itsself has old world charm with high ceilings, wrap around verandah and fireplace. Ideal location, peaceful yet a ten minute walk to the shops, eateries and beach. Beth was lovely and a very responsive host. A gem of a place. Dont hesistate, book in now!

Enjoy views facing a nature reserve and a backdrop of sand dunes. Casa on Jupiter is in a quiet and tranquil part of Venus Bay, and we even have a resident Wombat you might spot around on the property named Winifred!
Stroll for a ~10 minute walk through the peaceful backstreets of Venus Bay to reach the town centre where you can grab a woodfire pizza and a pint at The Cavity, fish and chips, coffee at The Bay Gourmet or an afternoon ice cream. There's also a general store and pharmacy. If you need a bigger shop, there's an IGA + liquor in Tarwin which is about a ~7 minute drive.
There is a path through the sand dunes to the beach, it's a beautiful walk from the house and takes about ~20 minutes with reasonable fitness. Otherwise, you can drive to the car park of Beach no. 1 and park there to go for a beach walk.
Wilson's prom is about 1.5 hour drive away, Venus Bay is a wonderful jumping off point for nature lovers.
Parking is on the street out front of the property, please do not drive into the front yard as our property is low-lying which means it's quite wet and the lawns are sensitive and cars can get bogged
