My experience was excellent all around. Elisabeth was as easy going and attentive of a host you could have. The check in process was super easy and the room was extremely clean and fully stocked. One of my favorite things was its location. You have the mountains literally behind you; the scenery is unbeatable. There are also plenty of restaurants and stores within close proximity. If you’re ever in this area, I highly recommend staying here.

A lovely small apartment perched in the Sandia foothills, view across the city valley to distant mountains, easy walk to a trail up the hills behind the house. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Best to have a car because there are no grocery stores within easy walking distance, but in a pinch, Walter and Elisabeth are very helpful indeed. I hope to be able to stay here again.

Extremely comfortable, with everything needed close at hand, including a small and fully equipped kitchen, and a plush bathroom, with massive, soft towels, plenty of hot water, and a beautiful, soaking tub. I was visiting friends who lived nearby so the location was perfect, but also near the tramway and good access, I understand, to the annual hot air balloon festival.

This suite is located as high in elevation as you can be in The Sandia heights in the safest part of the safest neighborhood you can be at in Albuquerque. The neighborhood and area is very quiet. From laying in bed you see the twinkling lights of the city and wake up to the pink sky as the sun comes over the Sandia’s and shines across the city. The views are amazing and the location can’t be beat. It’s great for a couple who would like to dine out most of the time. We used the kitchen to make coffee in the morning, have a bowl of cereal, heat up leftovers from dinner and have tea at night. The bed is very comfortable and the space is set up nice for how small it is. The hosts are inviting and kind.
