Mixing hotel with a home environment. Full access to kitchen, dining area, family room and sitting area. A small eucalyptus enclave just 5 minutes from the northeastern gates to Plant 42. The soccer center is approximately 2 miles southeast. Edwards AFB is approximately 30 minutes north east. The Nomad's Respite room is a downstairs oasis in this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 story home. The Nomad's Respite room has a private bathroom, queen size bed, and workspace with high speed internet. The home located in a safe housing tract, was just upgraded/renovated which included brand new bathrooms. In addition to the private bathroom attached to the Nomads Respite a bathtub is available in a shared bathroom in the hall. For a change of scenery the kitchen counter, dining room table, and coffee table also provide quiet workspaces with high speed internet. At the counter a guest can plug straight into the router for a gigabyte of speed. Three portions of the yard, separated by fencing, are available - two dirt runs to enable separation of pets if need be and one yard area between them for the calm enjoyment of guests. This guest yard has not been fully developed yet but is nice and usable. Wooden yard furniture is available under the eucalyptus in the front yard to enjoy the beauty of a desert sunset over the rooftops.

Wanda is a wonderful gracious host and I would recommend this listing to anyone. As long as you can pay the tax at the door(belly rubs for 50 tail wags) then you’re right at home! The house is spotless and welcoming. The host is very kind and respectful! The times are flexible and the bathroom is the best I’ve been in on air bnb. This stay is well worth the money and then some! I felt bad that I had to leave. There were chocolate mints and snacks placed in the room and on the pillow cases which is something you don’t even see anymore in most hotels I wish I could rate this listing and host 10 stars! Also included was a handwritten note to welcome me as I entered the room which I thought was a nice touch so I took it with me. All in all a positive and warm experience thank you Wanda for welcoming me into your home!

Wanda is a very gracious lady helpful when needed
At first I just booked a week at the end of November because Wanda's place was new to me. Place is very clean and quiet. Amenities are plentiful. I was so comfortable that I extended to four weeks. Wanda has proactively made many improvements during my stay, like high-speed internet. She's been so hospitable that I just finished booking the first three months of 2024. It's clear that Wanda makes all her guests feel welcomed, which leads go a nice interaction between guests.
