The location was great - convenient for us as we were exploring both Boston and Salem. There is a designated parking space at the front of the house facing the street which was convenient. Overall the unit has potential to be really great, but the furniture is very old and cheap/very flimsy, the lounge is tiny/very worn, the fridge is a mini bar (please put in a regular sized fridge), there are washer/dryer outlets in the kitchen (please install a washer/dryer). If the listers upgrade the furniture and stock the items (better quality towels, more than one tea towel/roll of toilet paper etc), then this has potential to be a really great Airbnb - but until then it’s below average for the price. The backyard is very overgrown too, and there is a hoarder who lives next door (I had to keep the blinds closed so I didn’t have to see in there)…
We enjoyed our stay very much at Amparos. Nice quiet area with lots to do nearby and pet friendly restaurants. Amparo was very communicative and very helpful as well. House was nice and clean when we arrived and felt homey. We will definitely be back in the near future.

We booked here because we were planning a visit to Salem and this location was only a 20 minute ride away. After what we were charged which increased by adding my son it was not worth the money. We could’ve stood in Boston at a much nicer place in the middle of everything. The place was clean but the futon that my son slept on was dirty, it had pet hair in the crease that was visible when we opened it. Also the pillows were horrible, they were completely flat and the bed was not the most comfortable. Other than that it was very clean. The location was not walking distance to anything. For the money we paid I would’ve preferred to stay in Boston.
