This area is so quaint and located very close to the ocean. It is well shaded and is kept cool by the ocean breeze, massive old trees, and hanging rooftops. All combined, there are many areas to hang out and relax here -or- you can enjoy the hammock on your own front porch. The ambience of the calm and quiet area will put you in a zen state instantly. Dende's brother, knows all about Khanom, its people, and surrounding areas. He is so kind and willing to help find whatever you desire in Khanom. Whether it be relaxing, exploring, meeting locals, or all of the above. Just bring your own essentials and whatever else you need to relax. This place will do the rest for you. The bungalows do not have air con, but also don't really need it thanks to the ocean breeze.

Loved the place and Gope was very friendly and helpful. It’s important that you communicate in advance about arrival, etc, but if you do you should be fine. If you like glamping and a bit of adventure this is a great place for you! We had a great full-moon swim right outside the door! The area itself is amazing. Almost no tourists that we could see and a very quiet spot. Got to see some dolphins as well. Eat at the restaurant just south of the place down the beach!

I stayed for 12 days at area 11 and had a great time enjoying the beach and the small restaurants near the AirBnB. Dende wasn't there personally but his brother Kob took good care of everything, he cooked almost every evening, showed me sights around Khanon and was an overall great guy and friend. Will come again.

Einfaches, sauberes Bungalow, direkt am Strand, 2 Hängematten, kaum Touristen und ein gutes Restaurant und Rollerverleih in Gehweite... was will man mehr? Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir wurden von Dendes Bruder P'Kop sehr nett empfangen und er half uns wo er konnte. Ausflug zu den pinken Delfinen und Schnorchelausflug, eine kleine Wanderung unter der Führung von P'Kop und viel relaxen. Er bekocht uns gut und bringt uns am Schluss zu einem angemessenen Preis nach Donsok zum Pier. Nach 2 Nächten haben wir gleich nochmals um 2 Nächte verlängert... Eigentlich wären wir auch gerne noch etwas länger geblieben, aber wir wollen uns noch anderes in Thailand ansehen. Man darf gespannt sein: P'Kop möchte mit seinem Lokal, der Bar und den Bungalows irgendwann an seinen Wasserfall mit Ausblick umziehen. Das wird bestimmt auch eine tolle Ferienlocation zum Ausspannen 😊 Wer Thailand an einem nicht so touristischen Ort sucht, ist hier richtig. Wer laute Endlospartys sucht, ist woanders besser dran.

Wer es ruhig und abseits des Tourismus mag, der ist in Khanom bei Kob genau richtig. Vom Raja Ferry Pier Donsak bin ich so gar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln hingebracht worden. Leider ist das Restaurant direkt nebenan kürzlich abgebrannt, aber in etwas Laufweite gab es auch gutes Essen. Aber dadurch war es wirklich sehr schön ruhig. Kob hat mich überall mit hingenommen: Wasserfälle, die Berge, den Wald, Kautschukplantagen und im Haus seiner Eltern hat er Mangosteem für mich geerntet. Wir haben in leckeren Restaurants gegessen, er hat sogar selber Zutaten für eine Suppe geerntet, mir die Pflanzen gezeigt, frischen Fisch dafür geholt und mir gezeigt wie man Tom Yam kocht. Es war toll mit einem Einheimischen entlegene Orte zu entdecken und authentisches thailändisches Essen zu essen.
