The historical building is located on the Buda side, next to the Danube river and the Margaret island, by the feet of the Buda hills, under the castle. The apartment (size of 90 m2 / 968 square feet) has been completely renovated and refurbished with high quality materials and with much respect to the original 120 years atmosphere of both the apartment and the building.

This was one my best-ever Airbnb experiences. Simon & Flora were extremely responsive and welcoming hosts that helped us get settled and recommended a great local restaurant. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with tasteful art collection and a modern look that manages to still persevere the old brick feeling of the building. For the value, this is a stunning place to stay. The location was also great for us as its on a quieter street but still well connected to Budapests many sights via foot and public transportation. Truly - I cannot recommend staying in Simon and Flora’s apartment enough!
Unique hot spot in BP. In the hearth of the city but on the calm side of the city. Stylish , cozy , welcoming, vibey . Good for a night or long term. Deffinately five star in a benefit-cost ratio!

While the apartment is located in the heart of the city, the street is a small, calm and peaceful part of it, with lots of small workshops, galleries, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants nearby. There are two 500-years-old Turkish baths in the street and more thermal baths within walking distance! Public transport is available 24/7 to every direction of the city.
Suburban train is also within walking distance of a few minutes, which can take you to beautiful suburban villages like Szentendre or to the Buda mountains for a refreshing hike.

We are a married couple from Hungary, Simon is a photographer and Flora is a ceramic artist. We are both well-travelled, open-minded, and lived for longer periods in more countries, and had wonderful experiences wherever we've travelled. Our recently renovated apartment in the heart of Budapest, by the riverside became free for a longer period and ready for welcoming guests from all over the world. So be our guest!
