This rental is for guests with positive evaluations. This traditional lakeside chalet has direct access to the forest and Lake Neuchâtel. Ideal for anyone to spend quality time without modern distractions and perfect for anyone looking to get writing or other creative work done. Enjoy the lakeside garden, swim in the lake and walk along the roads near the lake or further north through the wineyards. It is within walking distance of Grandson and around a 30 minute drive from the Jura ski slopes. This is a small, traditional, direct access lakeside chalet with kitchen, living room, bathroom and small bedroom. Part of the boatshed was converted to create the small bedroom within the main chalet. The bed is only 140cm wide so like a double bed. The living room has a sofa that can be used as a 1 person bed. The kitchen is very small with enough room for 2 people. There is a dedicated work table and dinning area for 2 people. The bathroom has a shower but no tub. There is no door, only a curtain so noises can be heard in the other rooms. Only access to the chalet is available (not access to the two sheds on the property). My personal belongings are in the chalet so please leave them where they are.

J'ai vraiment apprécié ma pause dans votre bijou. La maison de bateau est petite, mais elle a tout ce dont on a besoin. La grande fenêtre donnant sur le lac et bien sûr la baignade quotidienne dans le lac ont été mes moments préférés. Avec les transports en commun, c'est très facile d'accès. Il y a une agréable promenade jusqu'à Yverdon-les-Bains ou dans la nature. J'adorerais revenir !
On a tellement adoré notre séjour qu on a prolongé à deux reprises. On s est retrouvé au bord de l eau. Une grande baie vitrée. Le réveil au son des clapotis. Un endroit tout en serenité. Pour un merveilleux ressourcement au rythme des vagues, des canards et des cygnes. Marie-Lise & Anne-Claire sont super réactives et fort sympathiques. Un petit chalet cocooning où on aura plaisir à revenir.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem hübschen Chalet am See. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles ist sehr übersichtlich. Highlight ist natürlich der direkte Zugang zum See, das ist wirklich unbezahlbar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen:-)))). Grand Merci à Marie-Lise!!!!

This neighborhood is a series of small chalets. The strip of land between the train line and the lake is covered by a forest, and the chalets are amongst the forest. You may get forest animals on the property, and sometimes in the property. If you are not prepared to take this risk, please refrain from booking. Animals seen outside: beaver, fox, cats, birds, lizards. Animals who may come inside, especially in winter: spiders, mice, weasels (in the roof cavity).
There are two undercover car bays at the chalet, so free, covered parking. The train station is in Grandson, 30 minutes by foot from the chalet. At the train station, you can also catch buses. The closest bus station from the chalet is called "Grandson, Le Repuis". To reach it, you need good shoes to walk in the forest, especially after snow or rain. Take a left (lake at your back) at the chalet's driveway. Walk maybe 30 m, spot a very small river, do not cross it but rather follow it uphill, pass under the train tracks. Watching your head as the tunnel is VERY low. After the tracks, take the path on the left-hand side and go into the forest, uphill. Pass a small football field and emerge on the main road coming out of Grandson. Take a right and follow the road for 10 m. The bus stop is near the pedestrian crossing.
