Forestbrook is located a 5 minute walk from the idyllic village of Rostrevor, where you can avail of the many bars, restaurants and other amenities on offer. Kilbroney Park and the picturesque Fairy Glen are less than 100 yards from the doorstep. Rostrevor is conveniently located between Belfast and Dublin, offering a fantastic base for exploring and touring the many local attractions. A 3 bedroom home with quaint kitchen and cosy living room offering spectacular views of the Mournes. Forestbrook also boasts a large front garden with an array of plants and shrubs, as well as a large surrounding hedge to ensure privacy and quiet. There is also a small courtyard style rear yard, with storage facilities available for bicycles and other sporting equipment. Wash down facilities for bicycles are also available.

This home was absolutely fantastic. One of the few places where I felt inclined to photograph it as well as the surroundings. All four of us instantly get at home. Padhraic (the host) was very reachable and responded quickly. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit a beautiful area of Ireland.
Very comfortable and warm house in beautiful surroundings. Easy walking distance through the beautiful Fairy Glen into Rostrevor and a short drive to Warren Point. Padhraic and his Dad are both really friendly, easy to communicate with and helpful if you need anything. Lovely stay.
A good base for walking in the Mournes - a short walk from Rostrevor with a small shop just around the corner.

Quirky property with a very 1960s vibe, perfect for a small family. Was ideal for us as a short stopover. Clean and had everything we needed. Padhraic was a great host, nothing too much trouble. The only minor issue was our trip coincided with a spell of particularly cold weather and the house was very cold when we arrived (as the heating had not yet come on) and very cold again when we returned later that night (as the heating had switched off several hours before we arrived back). It was warm enough in the morning and there is a boost setting on the heating should it be required. Would just have been nice to arrive to a warm house - though probably not normally an issue for Rostrevor which has a favourable microclimate (most of the year). Other than that, house was in a peaceful location, easy to find and we would have no hesitation recommending both it and Padhraic as a great host.
