This place exceeded our expectations. Crispin was very helpful in sharing information on how to take the bus from DSM to Lushoto. Once there, he arranged for someone (Jamal) to pick us and take us to the cabin. Jamal was a fantastic host throughout our whole stay. He helped us purchase groceries, helped us with a tour of Lushoto and was generally on hand whenever we needed any assistance. Jamal is from Lushoto and therefore was very knowledgeable about the best activities to do during our short stay. Crispin made it a point to visit us and make sure everything was going well with our stay. The ambience was fantastic and just what we were looking for when searching for a get away from the urban noises. Perfect for couples or families. Kids would enjoy the huge farm area. All amenities were available and working perfectly. cabin was spotlessly clean. The views from the deck were always the perfect way to start the day and enjoy the starlight during the nights.

Our stay at Crispin's farm was perfect from the beginning. Crispin helped us take a bus from Dar to Lushoto and provided us with his friend Jamal. Jamal quickly became a good friend who showed us the country and its people. His open nature impressed us. In addition, we learned some helpful words in Swahili through him. Regarding the accommodation we were very impressed. It is located in the middle of nature between the mountains and there is from Pela fruits to avocados almost everything in own cultivation (including guinea fowls). In addition, everything was very clean. In the evening we enjoyed a campfire where Mr Kigu supported us with the necessary firewood. We enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime.
