We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It is the perfect place to stay at when exploring SW Cornwall. It makes you feel right at home and you have everything you could possibly need - the kitchen is fully(!) equipped, there is extra warm bedding if needed, there are even headlamps and torches. The apartment was spotless and had visibly been cleaned professionally before our arrival. We particularly appreciated the small details! Thank you for making us feel so welcome by providing tea, milk and cookies and by putting flowers in the kitchen - felt like coming home. There is not much to say about the surroundings and the location other than: it's simply beautiful and stunning. The views from the apartment is amazing! Communication with the host (resp the hosting group) was quick and easy. We would definitely return!
Rugged shorelines. Fresh sea air. Wild ponies and herds of cows wandering the clifftops. Cape Cornwall, known as the Old Land's End, was previously thought to be the most Westerly point in England until the creation of Ordnance Survey mapping 200 years ago. We can see how this mistake could've been made – the peninsula juts far out into the ocean, and the whole space has a remote, rural atmosphere like nowhere else in Cornwall.
Follow National Trust trails past bright flora and fauna, explore the Cornish Mining World Heritage site with a 19th century chimney stack, watch fishermen land in Priest's Cove and catch a sunset over the expansive stretch of sea. If you're a keen walker or coastal explorer, it's easy to spend hours trekking the cliff path.
Head further afield and you'll find Pendeen Watch to the north and the coastal town of Sennen to the south.
