Great place to stay if you’re going to be spending all of your time outside exploring! The room itself is small but manageable, the bed comfortable just a little snug being a double. A Queen wouldn’t fit! Shared bathroom with loads of character (exposed heritage listed bricks!) Just be aware if you have luggage that there are a number of stairs to get to your room and no lift

Given the lack of accommodation due to Taylor Swift being in town, we were lucky to find anywhere to stay. The last jar is essentially backpacker accommodation but it served a purpose.
Neat room with a comfortable bed. Shared bathroom is very clean and has plenty of stalls. Pub downstairs is lively but minimal noise filters up to the room, and staff are super friendly. Great location close to QVM. Definitely recommend!

On top of a well-known old school Irish Pub with a great reputation for amazing Guinness and hosting biweekly traditional Irish music sessions it will truly feel like your home away from home! Close to Melbourne CBD you have easy access to trams, or you can stroll down to the famous Queen Victoria Market. Plenty of activities and well-known sights close by for tourists as well!
2-hour parking is available on Berkeley Street and is free overnight from 6pm. Otherwise there are plenty of tram options around. Haymarket stop 9 - approx 230m walking north away from the city - routes 29, 59 go to and from the city. Alternatively, if you walk approx 300m south into the city you can get on a tram at Queen Victoria Market stop 7 which is in the free tram zone and has routes 19, 57, 59 to and from the city. Rideshare options are also available for getting around. Apps such as uber or didi are often quick to book. We recommend ordering one to the loading zone out the front of the pub on Queensberry Street for safe access.
