My family and I enjoyed our stay in the Lake Country in Darla's house. She was a great host and very friendly to us. The house has everything you need, is well kept, and very clean. The location on the lake is wonderful and the grounds are pristine. Pictures don't really do it justice. You can spend entire days in and out of the lake enjoying the house and garden without every leaving. This was our first trip to the Okanagan and Lake Country and we found many great things to do in the region.

Booking Darla's house was the best thing that happened to us this summer! My family and I are frequent travellers . We have been to many countries and places, Darla's place was different. It exceeded our expectations as it had everything we were looking for and more. Breath taking scenary, water activities, a refreshing private hottub. The house is super clean, very well maintained. All the appliances looked new. The house had everything a family would need which made our stay very relaxing. Moreover, the house antiques made it very special. Antique style which gave the house a historic atmosphere that we enjoyed greatly! Darla and her family were very nice and friendly. They made our stay a unique one! The photos don't show the real beauty of the place and the house. We highly recommend Darla's place for your vacation. We look forward to coming again next holiday!

We couldn’t of asked for a more beautiful, restful place to vacation for our family of 8 for 10 days! All I have to say is the pictures do not do it justice! It is more beautiful in person! We loved that it was more hidden away, private for our family and we had our own beach! The hot tub and lake swims were the hit here! Darlas home makes you feel right at home. Lovely layout to house, easy to adjust. Nice big kitchen and lots of areas to put your feet up and relax! Darla has great taste in decor and the upstairs makes you feel like your in a beach cottage! Extremely clean and well organized, just buy the food and your set!

Darla is an amazing host. Super friendly and hospitable. The property itself is beautiful and very private. The house is very well equipped for all your needs. We will be back.

We spent the most amazing 10 days on the lake at Darla’s and our only wish is that it could’ve been longer! We arrived during this summer’s heat wave and were thrilled to spend it on Kal Lake. Darla’s home was perfect for our family including our four young children and my parents. We had plenty of room for all of us comfortably, the a/c was much appreciated, and our kids loved the bunk beds. The home is beautiful and perfectly equipped, Darla has thought of literally everything we could need on our vacation. She even brought over a small children’s table for us to use outside and an extra paddle board for our kids to play on. Darla truly went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay while also giving us plenty of privacy. The beach was beautiful and where we spent most of our time, the photos do not do the property justice. We hope to be back to enjoy this slice of paradise again next summer!
