management company became unresponsive when I said the lock wasn’t letting us in. I had to search them up to find out their phone number. MJ was very helpful but the company itself stopped responding to me over Airbnb messages completely. The WiFi was so terrible the entire time. My friends and I could never get connected to it. The airbnb also lacked a ton of kitchen supplies like seasoning and trash bags. We had to go purchase trash bags despite this airbnb obviously being for a large group of people who would stay for multiple days and have lots of trash. Pool was also extremely dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. Overall, the airbnb itself is very nice and the furnishings are beautiful. Just an okay stay though
Beautiful house. We kept dreaming that it was our home, lol. Every inch was spotless. Very short boat ride to main lake. Magical weekend. Only only only semi-negative thing we could say, was that Wi-Fi wasn’t very strong. We assume it was the metal roof. But, it wasn’t enough to negatively affect our stay. We would definitely recommend.
Absolutely amazing service from the management team.
We loved our stay here! We had 8 adults and 3 kids and all had plenty of space to sleep, hangout, and eat. The house was very beautiful, fully stocked with all the essentials, and extremely clean, we really loved the pool and the lake access and all the kayaks. Only complaint is that the water is only a few feet deep off the boat dock, so it was always a little tricky getting our boat in an out, but it did the job! The hosts were great and let us have an early check in and a late check out. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again!
The Horseshoe Bay Living experience was fantastic. I will say they are super responsive, great at customer service, and quite flexible. I took advantage of the concierge chef services for my birthday dinner. Our chef, Renaee was fantastic! The 4 course meal we selected was above and beyond! Not only was the food amazing but their service, clean up as well. As far at the property, everything was super clean. Plenty of linens/towels. We spent a lot of time out in the pool. I will say it is not a 'swimmable' pool. It was only 3 of us so it wasn't bad but this pool is for hanging out, with lots of seating. I do not think this is made for kids. My only negative comment is that this was my first time in the area and I asked before hand if the water was swimmable. They said it was, however, the home sits where the water dead ends. The water is stagnant and very 'swamp' like. However, you could take the kayaks they provided an go down the river and maybe its better, but we didn't' do that.
