Stay home and enjoy the quiet or head downtown for shopping and a great meal in adorable Wautoma. Enjoy the "up North" vibes without the drive. 1.5 hours from Madison; 2 hours from Milwaukee, 3.5 hours from Chicago. 14 minutes to Nordic Mountain. 1.4 miles to Two Oaks Golf and 2.7 to Waushara Country Club. Pet friendly. Unique cozy A-frame lake house offers: - Large main floor bedroom with king bed and twin bunk bed. Sound machine and bedside lamps for reading. - Loft bedroom with queen and full bed. Stairs are baby gated at bottom of stairs. Loft opens to dining area. Privacy curtains are hung. Note that stairs are narrow (22") and could pose a challenge to some guests. - Living room with TV + Chrome Cast, vegan leather couch, plush rocker/recliner, electric fireplace, and lake views. - Bright fully stocked kitchen with full sized fridge, new induction stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, and all the cooking/serving/grilling essentials. - Coffee maker, Keurig, blender, crock pot, toaster. - High speed internet (300MB/sec.); WiFi coverage on deck and pier. - Conventional well and city septic - No cold showers, no low water pressure! Tap water has been tested nitrates and e-coli. No need to bring your own drinking water unless you want to. - Dining table for 6 with panoramic lake views. Open concept to living room. - Large patio overlooking lake with loads of comfy patio furniture, new gas grill, café lights, propane fire table and outdoor shower. Beautiful oak tree provides shade all day long if you need it. - Plenty of outlets for charging devices throughout home. Large collection of board games, puzzles, and cards if you want to unplug. - Newly re-done bathroom (shower only, no bathtub). - Grassy yard for yard games and lounging.

This place has everything you need for a peaceful and fun getaway: a stunning view from the deck next to the fire pit, boarding or kayaking on the beautiful and serene lake, relaxing in the hot tub, a well appointed kitchen with everything you could need, and cozy accommodations with whimsical touches. It was the perfect spot for a ladies weekend, and would be great for families too. I can't wait to come back!
Amanda's place was a great place to have our girl's weekend! Hot tub was so relaxing and appreciated. The A-frame cottage was nicely decorated, very clean, organized, cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Very nice added touch having all the extra beach towels to use! All 4 of us enjoyed our stay. We would definitely rent again if we come back to the area.
Amazing stay! Kids loved the house and lake, we will definitely be back! This A frame cabin is a gem and the views are just amazing.
The A frame was the perfect location for a girls weekend get away! What an adorable cabin with breathtaking views of the lake! The home was exceptionally clean with all the amenities you could think of. I brought my 9 month old with us which can be very stressful but with a pack and play, high chair, stroller, baby bath, and children's books and toys available it made packing for the weekend stress free! The girls and I enjoyed a peaceful morning of reading in comfy chairs while sipping our coffee and in the evening we cozied up to the outdoor fire place, had a delicious dinner at the long dining table, and relaxed in the 5 person hot tub under a full moon after the little one went to sleep! Wautoma is such a cute town filled with cute shops and great restaurants! We all enjoyed thrifting in town and then stopping at Grimm's bar which had $4 old fashions and the most incredible homemade potato chips and dips! We are already planning on making this a yearly trip! 10/10 will book again!
This place has everything you need. I imagine in the summer you can do much more. Everything is about 15-20 mins away which isn’t bad but there is not much to do in town at the moment. Amanda left recommendations which was really helpful as well.

Great neighborhood for walking, biking, and running. Walk out the door and stroll around Little Hills Lake and Silver Lake. This is a quiet neighborhood. We respect our neighbors and expect you to do the same.
Public boat landing .8 miles away. Silver Lake boat landing 1.3 miles away.
Room to park 2-3 cars. Private driveway. Quiet dead end street.
