Come feel the clean crisp air of the sierras. Step outside and Listen to wilderness at peace! FYI: Spring is finally here, streams are flowing full, fishing is good, all forest roads are open for exploring. We are in the central sierra mountains. 7200 feet elevation. Night temps range from 35 to 45 degrees, with daytime temps between 50 to 75 degrees. The cottage is on a 3 acre forested piece of property in the residential community of Ponderosa. There is plenty of space for your dog to run and exercise. I have a 60# loving Bernedoodle puppy that loves guests and their pets. You can walk through our rural mountain neighborhood to trails nearby.The kitchen area is minimal, a counter with a kerig coffee maker, small cube counter refrigerator and a small microwave, outside your door is a propane BBQ. A propane fireplace and electric space heater keeps your room pleasant. Internet is provided and satellite TV also. You'll be able to wi-fi call once connected. I encourage you to bring your pet dog or dogs.

Very cozy beautiful cottage in the mountains! The space was well laid out and very comfortable, and perfect for our explorations of the area. Peaceful and secluded.
What a wonderful lil getaway! Beautiful surroundings! William was very helpful and friendly. Recommended hikes around the area. My dog had a blast running around the area with William’s dog! Overall a fantastic, relaxing getaway! Wish I coulda stayed longer!
It was a wonderful experience. The cottage was cozy and located in a beautiful area. Mr. William was extremely courteous to us. It was a pleasure to meet him and chat with him.
Great host beautiful cabin
My husband and I had an amazing time at Williams cottage! We took our golden retriever with us and she had so much fun with Williams bernadoodle Bernadette! The location was very remote so we found Williams directions very helpful! He was extremely communicative & was always asking if we needed anything! The cottage was spotless & the views were AMAZING!! It was so nice getting away from the world for a little while! Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to family reasons but we definitely want to come back soon!!! I would highly recommend for anyone that is looking to disconnect for a little while!

My cottage is located in the mountain community of Ponderosa which is located 30 miles from the city of Springville east on State Hwy 190. At present, Hwy 190 is closed to non-residents because of Road damage from last years storms. Access to Ponderosa is Via Ave 56 off County Hwy 65 at the town of Ducor. You'll turn East on Ave 56 off Hwy 65 towards California Hot Springs, and continue up to County Hwy M107 to Ponderosa. The Drive takes you through the famous Trail of a 100 Giants sequoia grove with 2 miles of paved walks through this incredible forest of Giant Sequoias. A must visit on the way to Ponderosa which is only 10 more miles. Other hiking trails with your dog of leash ex. Freeman trail, Dome Rock scenic view/star gazing. Trail29/Fox trail.
Bring your bikes or good walking shoes to mountain bike or hike the many trails right from your door step. A special Trail that is wheel chair accessible is the Trail of a Hundred Giant- 10 miles south on M107 road you came in on.
