We had a wonderful stay. The house was great, very cozy. The views where stunning with all the leaves changing colors.

Our family had a wonderful time at this house. It was such a quiet, yet nice, clean lake. Our kids caught many fish off the dock and played for hours in the shallow water on their private beach area. We had campfires at night and the kids enjoyed playing pool in the basement. I was especially grateful for the large ground floor master with beautiful en suite for my in laws to enjoy. The yard was large enough that the kids could run and play. There were some steps down to the water, which is to be expected, but could be difficult for some. They had well a stocked kitchen and we enjoyed the fish fry from Ambrosia in Amherst. Definitely a lovely little place!

Great location on the lake. Kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking. Lake itself was very nice - a few weedy areas but nothing excessive. Beach area by dock was clear and clean. Overall very quiet and peaceful area. Laura and Frank were great hosts, and were easy to reach and responsive if questions arose. Frank reached out when we arrived and walked through some additional info on the house. We rated 4 stars since this wasn't as clean as other rentals we've used in the past - we didn't use the basement / pool table as it was a bit damp/musty down there and there were some dust/cobwebs in the main living areas that we cleaned after we arrived. That said, the lake was the main attraction and the overall experience was still positive.
