We love this historic downtown district and this building is absolutely charming. Walkable and great community. The house has a beautiful view of the creek and a nice deck to enjoy the outdoors

We absolutely loved our stay at the Clink! My siblings live in Troy so was able to visit. We loved the esthetics the house had. The bars in the wall was so cool to see and share with others! The back deck was perfect for relaxing after walking around the town. We took dogs for walks that lead us to parks for the kids. Unfortunately the splash pad was not open yet but hopefully the next guest can enjoy that! We did wade in the creek, and yes we did see a snake but he didn't want to be bothered and swam away. We still loved it! You are provided with towels, wash clothes and hand towels. We did grab swim towels from the store, so something to keep in mind. We just didn't want to ruin the beautiful white ones! The kitchen has pots and pans, utensils, plates, cups, toaster, oven and kid friendly dinnerware. We did grab a few things we needed but nothing to worry about. Maile husband was there in a flash to help and then showed us a few cool features the house. Overall, great vacation!

This house was great for our girls’ trip. The back deck is perfect with a wonderful view of the creek. The house was very clean and comfortable. We will come again!

Great location and history. Only drawback is no downstairs bedroom. Suggest future visitors check out Bell County museum for more history. We found BLOODY BELL COUNTY by Rick Miller from their gift shop fascinating.

This is probably the best place to stay in Belton! It is right on the creek and the back yard and deck are fabulous. We used the fire-pit each night; just open the propane gas tank valve first and follow the instructions! The house is much larger than it looks in photos. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are huge! The area is quiet at night. There are no shades on the windows, so plan to start your day at sun up. :). We could easily walk around town as the house is in a great location. We enjoyed a car show /live band nearby and ate at the Gin at Nolan Creek. Best breakfast was a Water Street Waffle - call in and get your name on the list for a table, so you don't have to wait. Best waffle ever! The town has cute shops, especially the one two doors down; The Crow and Cactus - had a little sangria there while we shopped! Antique stores have great offerings for low prices! The house is right in the middle of all of this and welcomes you home upon each return!
