Laura and Simon welcome you to The Garden Room. True to its name, it is a self contained annex that has everything you need for an overnight stay, or a little getaway. We are located a 12 minute drive from Bristol airport and 2 miles from the city centre with easy public transport links to both. The garden Room is easily accessed around the side of the house enabling you to come and go as you please. As a family home we also welcome families and can provide most things you will need. The Garden Room is an en suite room at the end of the garden of our family home. There is a double bed, en suite bathroom with shower and a kitchenette area. The kitchenette has kitchenware, a kettle, cafetier, toaster and mini fridge ideal for preparing breakfast or cold lunches. Please note there isn't anywhere in the room to cook/heat food, if we are in the house we are happy to let you in to use the microwave however this cannot be guaranteed. We are in delivery areas for Uber Eats and Deliveroo for a variety of restaurants if you wish to order food in. There is a desk/dining table with an ergonomic office chair and a monitor, with a HDMI cable connection, available for use. There is a double bed and some floor space around to put up a travel cot/toddler bed/air bed should you wish to bring children. Please speak to us in advance about your requests, we are very happy to help try and accommodate and as we have 2 small children ourselves we probably have most things you might need. Children 4+ are £10 extra per night. We welcome dogs at an extra of £10 per night. The room forms part of our family home which we use for storage. You are welcome to use items in the room such as toys, books, boardgames, yoga mats and weights but please do so at your own risk and inform us of any accidental damage. You are welcome to enjoy our family garden but may be sharing it with us. We have some children's outdoor play equipment such as a sandpit, mud kitchen and ride ons. The property and garden are both strictly no smoking or vaping. If you wish to smoke or vape you can exit the back of the property and do so in the lane behind the house with the door to the property closed behind you.
