Absolutely lovely time staying here with Bertie (the cat) and getting to know the gorgeous neighborhood of Crystal Palace. Took many long walks, explored restaurants, charity shops, and easily commuted to the center of London to sightsee. The place itself is beautiful, clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a great stay. Emily and Joe were away during my stay but responsive to any questions I had and kept in frequent touch about Bertie. Immensely lucky I stumbled upon this place.

Emily and Joe are the loveliest hosts. And their cat Bertie was an absolutely wonderful bonus to my staying. I felt instantly at home. Their home is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything was easy and straightforward from the word go and I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat

Emily and Joe are not just the landlady/landlord. They are friends to me. I can't find the most right words to describe. But this is the best experience I had on airbnb. I stayed with them (and the cats, Bertie and Peach) for around a month, and everything is fantastic. Emily and Joe are friendly, kind, and very easy-going. Bertie and Peach are the sweetest thing in this world!!! The room has its own bathroom, and they are both spacious. Also the place is near several stations and have several parks around. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

This property is away from the center of London, but has very convenient transportation to various hubs in London. There are buses running directly to Trafalgar Square near the house, and the train station is only a 5-minute walk away. Emily and Joe are both very friendly and understanding people. Emily always makes sure the house is in good condition. They answered questions timely and provided a lot of practical and interesting help with my travel plans. Their two kittens are both well-bred children. I help Emily and Joe feed cats when they travel. If anything else happened they will ask a cat sitter to come and take care of them, so I don’t have to worry about liability risks and care difficulties. Bertie and Peach are great companions and I miss these two furry babies already! All in all, I highly recommend Emily's house and would choose it first any time the need arises.

I stayed 3 nights with Emily and hubby Joe. They are a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful with 2 adorable kittens. The house is very bright and well decorated. I had use of a large double bedroom on the first floor plus sole use of the main bathroom. I was encouraged to use the kitchen/dining room, although I mostly ate out so only used it to make cups of tea. I already knew the area so didn't need advice on local things to do, but both were happy to engage in conversation and offer any help needed. I enjoyed my time with Emily & Joe and would happily stay with them again if accommodation was needed in the area.
