Wow, what a beautiful location! This cabin and the one next door have the entire cove and dock all to themselves. It was so nice to be able to walk the dog through the woods and at the lake without encountering any other people or dogs. (There is a dock-moving guy who comes once a day.) The cabin was small-ish but as pictured. The cedar smell is strong, but I liked it. If you have teens who stay up late, be aware that the doors to the bedrooms are siding barn-door style, and the sound insulation is poor. There were plenty of dishes in the kitchen, and the fridge and pantry were well stocked with beverages, condiments, coffee, sugar, creamer, etc. It felt too awkward to use the outdoor fireplace -- though listed as shared, it is oriented in a way that it seems like it is part of the neighboring cabin, so I didn't feel comfortable using it with that cabin occupied, but it was very nice. There were some cleaning oversights in the cabin. But overall, we would definitely stay here again.

everything at the cabin was very comfortable and clean, but was disappointed that there was no power at the boat dock so no way to charge your batteries. It was not an idea place with a boat. The nearest marina did not have any boat slip for rent either. It was a couple of mile to launch your boat which required an additional fee as well.

IVery quick response from host.. Very nice home minus the dust and a not so clean bathroom (We had to clean it when we arrived) Needs more storage for your things. No closets/storage bins to keep your items, only hooks in the bathrooms.. Extremely private, surrounded by nature and only a 10 minute hike to the water. Over all it was a very nice retreat from the busyness of life.
