Waverley House Enjoy a private and tranquil stay in our refurbished 1910 Queenslander home - a family oasis on Teneriffe Hill just moments from the best that Brisbane has to offer. The incredible location is just a short walk to the famous James Street precinct, Gasworks, Howard Smith Wharves, Riverwalk and so much more. Fabulous restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping are all within an easy stroll, as well as a multitude of transport options. A study/work space is conveniently located off the primary suite and features a desk, chair and lots of natural light. The second bedroom has a queen size bed (medium/firm 7 zone pocket coil mattress with ultra comfy memory foam topper) with bedside tables and lamps, a large wardrobe and easy access to the main bathroom. The living room is generously proportioned and features a chic collection of contemporary and vintage furniture, 50 inch HD TV (streaming only). Two pull-out single beds are located in the adjacent sunroom. The dining room is open plan to the living room and has an eight-seater dining table, period fireplace (not working) and aircon which services both the dining and living spaces. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large 90cm Falcon gas /electric range, dual drawer dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and electric kettle, and leads directly out onto the alfresco entertaining area. The main bathroom features a bath and shower-over-bath as well and lots of storage. The laundry comprises a Samsung 8kg front loading washer / drier along with a separate Miele drier. The alfresco entertaining area enjoys a large outdoor table with seating for six in a beautifully private and tranquil setting which leads directly out from the kitchen.
Our group had an nice and cosy stay at Dylan's residence. It was so close to all that Brisbane had to offer, with a woolworths and cafe just a 2min walk away. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable property in a quiet neighbourhood
Teneriffe is a historic neighbourhood on the Eastern side of the New Farm peninsula less than 3km from Brisbane's CBD. The area features a mixture of residential homes and iconic red brick industrial buildings known as the Woolstores, where much of Queensland's wool was processed, packed and shipped from. Now apartments and businesses, these buildings are iconic landmarks along the Brisbane River. With a mix of residents including young professionals and families, Teneriffe has plenty of lifestyle to offer from cafe's and restaurants to the Teneriffe Riverwalk, convenient shopping and proximity to Brisbane's premiere lifestyle precincts of James Street, Howard Smith Wharves and Newstead/Gasworks.
The home is offered with one residential garage, however there is plenty of free on street parking, as well as a number of transport options including: Teneriffe Ferry Terminal for Citycat Ferry services and busses.
Much is also within walking distance of the home including a convenience grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants.
