This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Remodeled by a well known local architect, Berry Langford, this house is incredibly unique with round walls and surprising nooks and crannies to explore. Only three blocks from Central Ave. in the Nob Hill neighborhood, the Birdhouse is easily walkable to many bars and restaurants, parks, local shops, the local Co-op grocery and bus lines. The Birdhouse has three bedrooms. Two with a queen bed and one with single bunkbeds. There is also a sofa bed in one of the common spaces if you need it. There is a shared backyard deck (there is a casita in back of the house that we also rent). Please note, there is no grass. We have xeriscaped the front yard and the back deck is wood.

Our stay was very comfortable, so much natural lighting and cozy yet private and peaceful. The home is so much prettier in person and we loved the unique layout! The location is perfect for visiting ABQ since it’s near restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and it’s even close to areas like downtown and sawmill market. We thank Persephone for being flexible with our check in and prompt replies!
Stayed here with my husband, three sons and our dog. We enjoy trying new Airbnbs and this one did not disappoint. It is really fun! We had everything we need and then some. There is a busy one way road next to the bedroom we slept in and it was a tad loud on Friday night. The heater worked great in the front of the house but not so well in the back and we were cold. But that definitely could of been user error. Also the listing mentioned a grass area but there was only a small area of dirt for our dog to handle his business. It all worked out but I thought there would be a bigger grass area since it is listed as dog friendly. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we have been telling everyone about the fun "Birdhouse" we stayed in. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun Airbnb.

Persephone and Johnny were wonderful hosts! The Birdhouse is an incredibly imaginative home in a beautiful neighborhood within Nob Hill. We *LOVE* the easy access to excellent Restaurant, Bookstore, Bakery, and Coffee (!!) options! We had some manageable complications while we were in town and Persephone stepped up to provide us the guidance we needed to get our problems solved. She was flexible and proactive. We look forward to seeing the home in the Spring and Summer at some point when all of the flowers are in bloom! Winter was a bit dreary, but that's no different from anywhere else. The neighborhood views of the Sandia mountains are spectacular, also. Thank you Persephone and Johnny!!
