Please note, this property welcomes one well-behaved dog, but is non-smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. I stayed at the house for a family reunion. The house suited us well for that, as it is very spacious; we had six adults staying and there were plenty of rooms for everyone to be doing their own thing. The house is in an incredibly peaceful location: in our three days at the house, we didn’t see a single person from the property or even hear traffic in the distance. Very much enjoyed my time at the house. In terms of finding it, definitely follow the instructions provided by the owners; my car’s inbuilt satnav always wanted to take us to the other end of the road, and the two ends no longer connect in the middle.

Spilsby, a historic market town, is situated halfway between Horncastle and the coast. It offers a variety of charming pubs, independent shops, and cafés, all of which are tucked away in the town's charming ancient streets. The town is bordered by picturesque countryside and charming little villages that are worth seeing, and Horncastle, known for its unique stores and antiques centres, is only 15 minutes away. Here, you're sure to find something to remember your time in this delightful place. Spend the afternoon in the 200 acres of picturesque, rolling farmland that make up Snipe Dale Country Park. There are also picnic spots, way-marked pathways, and a variety of species there. You may also drive 20 minutes east to reach the coast, where you'll find Skegness with its well-known seaside attractions or Chapel St. Leonard's, a more sedate village with equally lovely golden sand beaches. For your Lincolnshire holiday, Spilsby is a delightful place with a tonne of things to see and do close by.
