The SONHO House is reminiscent of Arabic influences in its form and architectural style and extends over 3 half-levels. It is lovingly and individually furnished with light colours and primarily natural materials, inviting you to linger in different places - there is a place for every moment. We offer three different guest rooms, some with private bathrooms and their own small terrace, which can be used as double or single rooms. Every morning we prepare a delicious breakfast - just as you like. Limão, decorated in fresh sunny yellow and natural colours, is located on the 1st floor, has a beautiful wooden floor, an en-suite bathroom and a large glass door to a small terrace, which invites you to relax with a good book or glass of wine (or both, of course). The double bed (160cm wide) offers space for 2 guests, and the built-in wardrobe can be used to store clothes and various items. The bathroom is directly accessible from the room without having to enter the communal hallway and is lit by daylight. Limão, like all other rooms, is equipped with air conditioning for the hot summer days.

Schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Das Frühstück wurde ganz nach meinen Wünschen angepasst. Wäsche waschen konnte ich auch. Die Gastgeber sind ein sehr freundliches, deutsches Paar, das die Gegend gut kennt und super Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants, Surfen etc. geben kann. Im Dorf gibt es ein kleines Café, das authentische portugiesische Küche anbietet, ansonsten ist man in Bordeira aufs Auto angewiesen.

When you come to Bordeira, you get the feeling that time runs slower than elsewhere. There is hardly any traffic on the small village streets, and the winding alleys are best explored on foot - all the way up to the look-out point with a view over the valley and the neighbouring hills. In the village there is a small, typical café whose owner knows how to make good coffee, offers small snacks and serves typical Portuguese dishes with a good glass of wine every day. Five times a week, a bakery cart and a fish vendor come and sell their fresh goods on the market square: sardines, robalo, bread or sometimes locally made almond and cinnamon biscuits.

For the more active among you, we are happy to organize joint trips, do yoga together, go surfing, biking or whatever else we can think of.

We both come from Germany, have traveled to many places, and lived in Asia for a long time on business.
