This airbnb is the ultimate in the airbnb world. This is similar to an highend hotel room with all the added extras of an vacation rental. The apartment (called Tiny but was quite big for Italian standards) had a lovely large bed, large TV, loaded bar fridge (for a fee) plus the added extras of a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Ice machine and iced water just outside the apartment door. Entry was easy and Salvatore used airbnb and various other methods to let us know the details. He always got back to us in a very quick timely manner. The apartment was clean. Location was minutes from Milan train station and a short walk from the metro line for getting into central Milan. Can highly recommend.
Sécurité au top, facilité d’entrée, équipement complet à tous les niveaux. Cela restait assez petit et malgré la propreté générale quasi impeccable, plusieurs cheveux retrouvés à différents endroits dès l’arrivée dans l’appartement (Sdb, placards cuisine, lit…). Petit plus pour la machine à glaçons à disposition librement me permettant ainsi de continuer ma routine visage.

Via Melchiorre Gioia 55 is in the heart of Milan, next to the Sant'Agostino Basilica, and strategically positioned between the Central Station, Porta Nuova, and the new Isola neighborhood. The importan urban and architectural development works that have interested this area in recent years contributed to transform it into one of the most contemporary and fashion-oriented in the whole city. The apartment is located near a well-lit and central area, safe to navigate during both the day and the night. It is also well connected through public transport. This accommodation is truly the best solution if you want to spend your stay a few minutes walk away from the city's main attraction. Furthermore, it is close to a variety of essential services, including: taxi stops, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a beauty salon, a laundrette, restaurants, cafés, and cigarette resellers. If you have a car, you leave it in a guarded parking lot or in one of the blue-line parking spots in the streets. Both are available for a fee. The Sondrio station of Metro Line 3 (or the "Yellow Line") is but 2 minutes away on foot, and you can use it to travel to some of the most famous destinations across the city, like Via Montenapoleone (8 mins) or Piazza Duomo (10 mins). Walking for 5 minutes brings you to the Centrale metro station, where you can board Lines 2 and 3, or to the Gioia metro station, along Line 2 (the "Green Line"). Central Station is also a key transportation hub, allowing you to hop on trams, buses, and trains, including connections for the Linate, Orio al Serio, and Malpensa airports, the San Siro stadium, and the Rho Fiera expo areas. 10 minutes away on foot you can find some of Milan's most iconic buildings, like Bosco Verticale ("Vertical Forest"), and Gae Aulenti square. 5 minutes more is all you need to reach Corso Como, a place of worship for all shopping and partying lovers, or the Isola neighborhood, famous for its restaurants and its bars.
