Excellent location right in the centre of Praia da Rocha. Lovely sea views. Super comfy bed. The apartment block was very secure and well maintained, the nicest on the whole strip. The balcony was a sun trap, perfect for sun bathing if you can’t be bothered to walk the 30 seconds to the beach. Ana and Maria were super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to all and use again if we visit the area. LOTS of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from in walking distance.
From the point of making the initial booking I was contacted by Anna & Maria continually regards information about procedures of finding my way and what the area had to offer, this made me feel confident about my first time of using Airbnb. On day of arrival at the apartment location, all was how had been informed and didn’t need to be met to let ourselves in. On entering the apartment we immediately felt at home and it was so nice after travelling all day to be able to just sit on the fabulous balcony and take in the beautiful sea view. The cleanliness and spaciousness for the two of us was great for our long stay holiday. We only made contact with our host on one occasion and received almost immediate reply. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. Security was also something we very much appreciated as to enter the building you have to use a fob to gain entry. A very enjoyable stay.
We loved staying here during our month-long vacation in Feb/March 2024. The place was perfect for us. It matched all the pictures and descriptions listed and included everything we needed for our stay. The location was fantastic being very close to restaurants, supermarkets, great places to hike and explore, and so close to the ocean and beaches. We would most definitely return to this location in future visits to Portimão and "Praia da Rocha". It was very hard to say goodbye. Maria and Ana are sweet caring hosts who truly want you to have the best experience while staying at their beautiful home while in Portugal.
El apartamento esta al cruzar de la calle. Hay mucho transit de personal caminando y restaurantes de differences comida. Me encanto el ambience y la mayoria de personas son muy amables.
A very cozy and nice place. It was clean and had a great balcony with a view. Host was excellent and had lots of good recommendations. Few things like the bath tap and one recliner were not working well but overall we really liked it and would stay again.

Praia da Rocha is one of the most well-known beaches and resort town in Algarve. Located at the estuary of the River Arade, right next to Portimao city, Rocha (as it is known) is famous for the amazing long beach, a bustling vibe and great nightlife.
A lively resort that caters equally well fun-seeking tourists, families, young couples or more mature tourists.
The huge beach stretching for over a kilometre and sheltered by attractive, craggy cliffs in warm colours it will certainly take your breath away.
A great wooden boardwalk runs the length of the beach and connects directly to the beautiful Marina of Portimao. You can find several beach bars and restaurants. The colorful Marina has a really luxurious feel to it with an exclusive beach and ocean front swimming pool, at Nosolo Agua Club.
For wheelchair beach access there are two points, a beach-level access by the Marina and by a car access ramp in the middle of the main avenue.
Up on the seafront avenue Tomas Cabreira there is a succession of hotels, restaurants, bars, open-air cafés discos and the Casino. Also offers a lot of shops, supermarkets, hairdressers, rent-a-car, public transportation, pharmacies.
The proximity in the area of health and well-being with two large hospitals, public and private, is a great advantage. 4km away.
