This was a fantastic place to retreat - barely heard anyone and minimal cars passing by. A lovely little town - check out the community run museum - and not far through to Hastings
We stayed for 4 weeks (2 adults, baby and a dog). We all enjoyed it. Big grass area, quiet neighbourhood, nice little town. The house had pretty much all we needed. There is a AC in the living room, not really cooling down bedrooms but I guess it's very few days in NZ that this is needed:) There two electric blankets on king and queen beds and ceiling fans in each bedrooms. Kids bedroom was great for our little one with some toys. Covered parking was definitely appropriated. 5 star overall!
