Coming to Patricia's place you can expect to be treated like family. She is easy to communicate with and will ensure to work check in around your travel plans. She has created a warm, safe, loving atmosphere in her house. We took her up on her offer to cook for us and it was the best decision we made. She is a very talented and amazing cook and even offered some fresh honey and cheese from her farm. Her house is walking distance to the bus station as well as to the city center where you can find a nice park and cathedral. She will arrange a tour to Somoto Canyon for you as well and the tour group will pick you up directly at her place. Would go again!

Patricia is an amazing host! She is super friendly and very helpful. She organized the canyon tour for us, organized a taxi, helped us with our journey to Honduras and she invited us for dinner! This is the place to stay in Somoto! Restaurants and shops are close. The room is simple but clean. We would highly recommend staying there!

Our stay at Patricia’s was great, the place is clean and the breakfast is delicious. We really enjoyed the time with her family as well, good time trying to improve our Spanish! I highly recommend.

Patricia went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable. I left my cell phone in the cab when I arrived, and Patricia was able to call a friend who had a relative who knew the cab driver, and she got the phone back for me. Then she asked us if we wanted a tour of the canyon and she had it organized for us in just a few minutes. Her cooking was also amazing and the room was very clean. One of the best places I’ve stayed in my three months in Central America!
