We had a peaceful week here. Katariina and Pentii are super hosts who make us feel welcome. Public transport and HSL app work well so this place is perfect if you want a break from the city (but not completely cut off). Bus stop is 2 min walk so we use bus 246 to supermarket, Nuuksio nationa Park (takes 2 short bus ride but highly recommend) and Espoo /Helsinki. The village also has many walking routes if you enjoy (nearby lake Bodom is great too). We love the rustic style of the mökki (the wood sauna is a must try). It is cosy and have everything needed. We saw Katariina' beautiful horses (a few of them we saw every morning by the window). Wish we could stay longer and will recommend here to my friends.

A cosy and beautiful summer cabin constructed traditionally from logs. Really beautifully furnished and well insulated. Katariina was really welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The sauna was exceptional!
Cabanon style « hobbit » plein de charme ! Ont a aimé les fenêtres qui donnent sur la nature, le silence environnant. Parfait pour une pause ou une découverte de là région.
Highly recommended place and host! We had a great time at Katariina's place - in every sense. Communication was friendly, responsive and proactive, as Katariina picked us up to save us from walking through the icy road and under the rain - something we greatly appreciated! We had everything we needed, as advertised on the listing. The place is just the right mix between a cosy 'original' Finnish log cabin and a more modern place with all the amenities and comfort you need. Being located in Espoo, the mökki was easy to reach with public transportation, making it very tempting to come back to during the summer. All in all, clean, comfortable, cosy place, and helpful, friendly and flexible hosts. See you soon!
