This spacious apartment is situated on the second floor and is appointed with a bright and spacious open plan living / dining and kitchen space, master bedroom with en-suite shower room, second bedroom, family bathroom with shower and gated parking. Easy access to train station and ideal for business or leisure stays. This light and airy apartment also benefits from central heating, high speed wi-fi, Smart TVs to living room and both bedrooms and a sofa-bed (which can occasionally accommodate a further 2 guests). The living room has a dining area with space to seat 4 guests. From the living room, there are double doors that open up onto a patio and the apartment benefits from a small south facing garden area. The kitchen is fully equipped with washer / dryer, dish washer, full size fridge / freezer, electric oven and hobs, microwave and a full range of cooking utensils. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower with toilet and wash basin and plenty of wardrobe space. The second bedroom has a small double bed as well as chest of drawers and free-standing wardrobe. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower over the bath. The family bathroom is bright and spacious and has a toilet and wash basin, with large mirror over.

Visit the charming market town of Newbury and you can be sure to have a wonderful time – especially when taking a guided tour around nearby Highclere Castle, where the binge-worthy period drama was filmed. Newbury Racecourse is also a surefire hit, whether you want to have a flutter on the horses or trot over to its events venue for some live music or a theatre production.
If your horse comes in, hit the plethora of retail outlets (independent stores, high-street shops, specialist markets, local Camp Hopson department store, which opened in 1921) and restaurants (pavement cafés, cosy restaurants, country pubs, Michelin-starred bistro Henry & Joe’s) with your winnings.
Save some energy to explore the lush surrounding countryside, as well as the many walking and cycling trails, including the towpath along the Kennet and Avon Canal, which passes straight through the heart of the town centre. Enjoying your time in Newbury: a sure thing.
Newbury provides direct rail links to Reading in under 30 minutes and to both London Paddington and Bristol in under an hour as well as road access to Reading, Oxford, Southampton and Swindon – all in around 30-45 minutes.
