In Villa Surya East and West meet. It's a tranquil, welcoming and joyful place where the soul is at ease. Selva di Fasano is where the inhabitants of the coastline go to find solace from the summer heat. Located at the border between the provinces of Bari and Brindisi, it is also known as "the Italian balcony on the Orient". At Villa Surya, you'll find a day area with a completely equipped kitchen and a night area, all furnished in a style reminiscent of India and Tibet. In the shade of the roofed patio you enjoy the calm and the fresh air of the hills surrounded by colorful flowers, as well as spectacular sunsets.

Il posto è molto bello, cirato nei dettagli. I proprietari sono accoglienti e discreti. I luoghi da visitare sono vicini, e poi si torna a casa nella pace della natura. Silenzio e confort. Insomma... mi sa che bisognerà tornarci a godere di questa cultura solare , accogliente che culla come il Mare. Grazie
Per un amante dell’oriente, ma non solo, è un ri/trovarsi tra simboli profumi suoni dell’India - giardino curatissimo, arredamento in linea, letture, immagini evocative. Il nome Surya ( sole ) è quanto mai inerente. Lucy perfetta nella accoglienza e nella discrezione. Tornerò sicuramente per un soggiorno ben più lungo.
Lucy und Günther sind super Gastgeber, sie waren stets hilfreich und bemüht meinen Aufenthalt so schön und einfach wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Zimmer ist deutlich größer als in den Fotos zu erkennen und in einem sehr sauberen und gepflegten Zustand. Der Außenbereich der Villa Surya ist perfekt zum Sonnenliegen, das Panorama zu begutachten und vom Alltagsstress loszulassen. Er ist abgegrenzt vom Garten der Gastgeber, wodurch man viel Privatsphäre hat. Wer Abends seine Ruhe finden will, ist hier genau richtig! Die Villa Surya ist außerdem sehr gut gelegen, man erreicht das Meer in ca. 15 Minuten und auch andere Städte wie Monopoli, Alberobello und Polignano a Mare erreicht man in unter 30 Minuten. Ich kann die Villa Surya jedem nur wärmsten empfehlen, ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch bei Lucy und Günther.
L’appartamento è spazioso e dotato di ogni confort. È immerso nelle campagne pugliesi ma allo stesso tempo non lontano dal mare. La gentilizia e l’ospitalità di Lucy hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più gradevole, facendoci sentire come a casa.
I was well inspired choosing Villa Surya to spend my birthday night. Lucy and Günther, our hosts, welcomed us as if we were old friends. The Tiny House has its independent access and is a jewel with its own patio. Luxurious plants surround the veranda providing full privacy. A touch of warmth and loving care in every detail of the interior, the fabrics, the colours, the natural carpeting, makes one feel instantly at home. The proximity of the sea, the romantic landscapes and sites of Apulia and the delicious restaurants recommended by our hosts completed the magic of our stay, a very very happy birthday indeed. Selva, from the Latin word of "woods", derives its name from the rich mediterranean vegetation and the presence of many trees of all varieties: oak, walnut, fir, pine and poplar trees.
Among the many architectural beauties, there is the so-called "Minareto", a residence built in 1912 in the Moorish style by the Italian artist Damaso Bianchi. From the height of its tower one can see the coastline from the beaches of Monopoli to Ostuni on one side and the Pyrrhus Valley on the other.
From heights of Selva di Fasano one enjoys views to the coastline on one side and the hills covered with fields on the other. La Selva di Fasano is in a strategic position to reach in a short time the beaches and bays of Savelletri, Torre Canne and Monopoli, the archeological site of Egnatia, the "trulli" of Alberobello and the Caves of Castellana. Within half an hour (by car) you can reach the "pearls" of the Itria Valley, the towns of Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca, as well as, a little further away, Ostuni, the "white city".

Nasco in una magica terra: l 'India, ricca di tradizioni, cultura, musica, arte e soprattutto colori. Vivere in India è come viaggiare nel tempo tra un passato mistico ed un presente globalizzato. La mia seconda "casa" è Torino: città nella quale accresce il mio attivismo presso l'Associazione ITALIA-TIBET attraverso cui incontro mio marito Gùnther, già membro del Consiglio direttivo della medesima. Ha inizio un nuovo cammino!
