Great stay in a shared accommodation! Laura is a friendly and responsive host who has lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. The neighborhood is great - easy walk to Highland Park and restaurants. A bit longer walk to the museums, or you can take a bus if you don’t have a car. The kitchen was comfortable - I used the microwave, toaster oven and guest fridge for a few items. Generous selection of tea and coffee. Friendly dog so just note that if you have allergies. The only thing I would change has to do with the twin bed and futon - probably not for you if you like a firm bed. I slept on the futon and my travel buddy slept on the twin bed. We each felt we could have used a more supportive mattress/futon. This might vary by personal preference. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this stay. Laura is a great and attentive host and her house has lots of personal touches that we enjoyed.

We enjoyed our stay! Laura’s place is in a great neighborhood and it is easily walkable to the park, stores and restaurants. Laura has very clearly indicated in her description - but make sure to note - the bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor . I would say that’s the only less than ideal thing about this rental. Other than that, Laura is a responsive host and easy to communicate with. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen is great and the garden is beautiful - also, the dog, Nina, is absolutely adorable !

We had a terrific stay with Laura. She was a wonderful hostess. Very kind and responsive when contacted. It was a great location—easy to get where we wanted to. It was the perfect, quiet place to lay your head. I’d stay there again, and recommend.

Laura is a phenomenal host---I came to her airbnb looking for a place to rent in the South Wedge for the coming year and she was extremely helpful in making suggestions about the area. The place was exactly what I was looking for---well-located in the South Wedge and a fantastic value. I also have to give a shout out to her well-behaved, fantastic dog Nina. This was a great place to stay!
