Ketchikan · 乡村小屋里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Blueberry Cottage on the Creek
Perched above Married Man's Trail , overlooking the Salmon Ladder waterfall. Enjoy an expansive covered porch with a fire pit and dining table. Prime viewing for eagles and salmon. Steps away from everything in downtown Ketchikan. This property is best described as comfortably "visiting your family". NOTE: SUPER FRIENDLY PUG & FRENCHIE ON PREMISES/ SHARED COMMON SPACES. Welcome to your Alaska home! This quaint space features everything you might need: from family games/books, Amazon Prime/Netflix, unlimited internet, an exercise space, laundry, and an incredibly well-equipped kitchen. Your host had a cooking show for many years, so you are often treated to local delights from her kitchen. You will have your own bedroom, nicely appointed, but share other areas with the owner and her black pug and frenchie. We respect your privacy, and always are here to help make your stay amazing.
I highly recommend Michelle’s place if you’re looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay while you’re in Ketchikan. Michelle is such a wonderful host and makes you feel so welcome. She provides every amenity you might want while you’re staying there. My favorite part of the whole stay was getting to interact with her sweet dogs, Jack and Sophie. Michelle’s home is just a few minutes’ walking distance to all the great downtown Ketchikan restaurants, museum, civic center, Southeast Alaska Discovery Center, brewery, coffee shops, art galleries, entertainment, and much more.
Michelle’s home as just as written in the description. Amazing view watching the salmon run and jump upstream! Comfortable and accommodating. Michelle is informative regarding local activities.
I can't say enough good things about our stay with Michelle at Blueberry Cottage. Yes, there are a LOT of steps to get to this gem of a room, but it was worth it for the warm welcome and the friendly company. We truly felt like house guests.
Fnatasic and very knowledgeable host, perfect location, great tips on where to go and what to do.
Great host and hospitality. Michelle does a great job with the home and made us feel welcome. We didn’t have any issues. Jack (her dog) is also really friendly. Location is great and central. We were able to get around everywhere by just using the public buses. Just be prepared to go up the stairs to the place.
Married Man's Trail is located within a two minute walk of everything in downtown Ketchikan. Parking is on-street, first-come-first-served. However, you really don't need a vehicle here.
You are steps from downtown Ketchikan, and a short jaunt to the famous Creek Street. Taxis in Ketchikan are surprisingly inexpensive for trips in town. ($5-10) Consider renting a car if you are planning activities outside of the city limits. Parking is ON STREET as on a space available basis, and this can be challenging in the high season of summer tourism.
