This is one of our three room at our beautiful little Thai style resort in Bantak village. Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. This room is right on the mighty Ping river and one of our most popular rooms. The room is on the ground floor so it is suitable for families with small kids, strollers or wheelchairs. We might allow pets on a case-to-case basis. We have 3 large bedrooms for rent.

My first impression was talking to Mr. Michael and giving him advice on restaurants and places to visit. Secondly, the staff and dogs are very welcoming here. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, private, and the atmosphere in front of the accommodation is very good. It feels like you're back at home, not just staying in a hotel. If there is a chance, will definitely go back again.
We had a great time at Michael’s place. It was a nice resort with beautiful surroundings. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious with local deserts. We are happy to comeback in the future

Bantak is a small village around 450 km northwest from Bangkok and around 200 km. south of Chiang Mai.
It is a charming village and perfect place for those who wants to live ‘Thai style’.
In some mornings you might get woken up by the local village chief's announcements or by a temple fair, but that is a part of charming Thai rural life.
There is a surprisingly wide choice of markets, shops, food stall and restaurants, all of very good quality, affordable and clean.
Besides tons of great Thai food, then there are Pizzarias, Wine gardens and even food deliveries, all at very reasonable prices.
Wherever you go the friendly local people will greet you with a wave and a smile.
There is, in walking or biking distance, a fitness-area where the locals meet up every morning or late afternoon to walk, run and do sports.

Born in Denmark but lived in Thailand for 44 years and is now a Thai citizen. My wife Nong is born in Bantak so I am lucky to be married to someone from an absolute paradise. Our properties are our dreams and hobbies. We like to keep the design 'earthy' with warm colours so you can get to be relaxed and feel inner peace. Welcome to charming village of Bantak.
