My wife, our furry baby, and I came here for a weekend getaway. We had been here before and, with the hectic chaos of life creeping in, my wife asked if we could return. The hosts are the friendliest people ever and very accommodating. Their place was clean and had all the accoutrements needed to feel right at home. As for the surroundings… the three of us sat on the dock watching fish, birds, and the occasional kayak come by until the sun set behind the trees across the water. It was exactly what we were hoping for and needed! Highly recommended; we will definitely be back again!

We enjoyed our stay, it’s quiet and peaceful especially gazing at the river with all the wildlife. It has beautiful palm trees and plants. The pool was always clean and never crowded, the waterfall in the pool was a nice feature too!

Quiet and peaceful place. Part of a fishing resort which we weren’t aware of before we got there but most guests seemed to be there for relaxation. Accommodations were clean, updated, and very comfortable. Waterfront on the Manatee River. E G Simmons Park was nearby for beaches and views of the bay. Area restaurants were great! Ybor Grill was our favorite. Everything was great for a tranquil stay.

Our stay in cottage 1813 was lovely. Very friendly welcome, CLEAN unit, had what we needed. The pool was heated, warm, clean and very well maintained. Loved walking down to the intercostal to watch the pelicans in the am. Great value. Would definitely stay again.
