this was a great place to stay for a weekend at the lake. The house is very well equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable family getaway. Plenty of toys for the kids and things for the adults to do as well

The photos do not match the actual property, they make it look quite a bit nicer than it is. There is no A/C, something we missed in the amenities list when booking. There were a fair number of bugs in the bathroom and some food/condiments open in the fridge and freezer. Perhaps if you’re booking for a large group that would fill every single bed, it might be worth the price.

The experience that we got was definitely not worth the money we paid. First, when we got there, we were given the wrong code to get in. Both the rental property and the host did not respond untill hours later. Luckily, we got into the front door because the lock was broken. We informed the host about the lock which her response was. They were aware of it, but the contractor couldn’t make it out before our stay. With no solution until I asked her to send someone out and her response was he was at an event and couldn’t make it out till tomorrow. He did come the next day, but we were not given a heads up, which we thought was rude! We ended up staying in the guest house, which was a good thing because there was mice everywhere in the main house! Be prepared to clean up a lot of mouse poop in the morning. The reason we picked the house is because of the beach which don’t let the pictures foul you is not maintain! Weeds and sludge everywhere that we had to clean so our kids could swim!

For the first stay of a property it did pretty great! Everything was well kept, cozy and included all listed amenities. The view and shore were perfect but make sure to bring your water shoes as the weeds have grown up quite a bit this year. The hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly and ready to help if needed!
