Finca las Hortensias was without a doubt our favourite airbnb experience as a family. There were so many small, personal touches that made our stay super special and we felt so welcome. Alonso was a great person to have around and show us how the farm worked. My children didn't want us to go out in case they missed the milking! The fresh milk we were able to have was the cherry on top of a perfect stay! We were also treated to spotting toucans from the house and a calf was born during our stay- magical! We will wholeheartedly recommend to others!

La casa está bien equipada, y el trato fue excelente. Yendry contesta muy rápido y está atenta todo el tiempo. Alonso y su familia muy pero muy amables y joviales. La lechería es muy interesante y divertida, está anexa a la casa, es un punto a considerar por el tema del ordeño en la madrugada, si es de sueño pesado no tendrá problemas, pero si no, si se va a despertar. El precio es muy Justo y la atención muy humana. Muchas gracias.

Yendry’s place was brilliant. We loved it. Alonso took the kids sledging in barrels on grass and they also got to hand-milk the cows. Unforgettable for all and we’ve never been so close to a working dairy farm before. Really really lovely

Fantastic airbnb. Yendry was a very welcoming, responsive, and helpful host. Left us many gifts and food. Also provided us with information for important places around town. The farm was very clean and as shown in the images. Located in Monteverde, the views are stunning and extremely peaceful. Wifi was very strong especially considering you’re staying in a very remote place. Cute and tamed dogs. Lots of farm animals. The assistant of the property “Alonso” doesn’t speak English, but he was always smiling and was very kind and let us milk the cows. We only stayed for 2 nights, but if you stay longer, Alonso will give show you trails and other stuff. Overall, highly recommend this place especially for larger families, people with kids, or if you just want a cool local experience. Was one of our favourite Airbnb’s during our time in Costa Rica. 5/5 👍✌️

Realmente la estancia fue muy agradable, el clima espectacular y la "COMIDA DELICIOSA" los anfitriones realmente saben como tratar al huésped y hacerlo sentir como en casa, desde ya deseando volver y disfrutar nuevamente de ese hermoso lugar.
