This house is situated in a picture-perfect, calm, and quiet part of Boston but is centrally located a short walk from beaches, parks, shopping, and top-rated restaurants. Easy public transit connects you directly to the Back Bay, Seaport, or Downtown. Plus you can bring your car with one reserved parking space a short 2 min walk from the front door. Standard rules apply: We look forward to welcoming to our home and all the standard rules apply: no smoking, no partying, no pets, and being respectful of the neighbors, please. You'll have full access to the entire house, which is has all the essential items: toiletries, towels, linens, cookware, etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/serving necessities, including cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, adult + child silverware. Also included are many small appliances, such as a food processor, slow cooker/rice cooker, baby food maker (steams and purees), and a hand-held mixer. An electric kettle makes tea and pour-over coffee easy! The dining room table has room for the whole family with seating for up to twelve. The living room features designer furniture with an emphasis on comfort, including a Restoration Hardware sofa with down-filled cushions and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams armchairs with custom upholstery. The television is wifi enabled with AppleTV, so you can log into your streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime. Or stream from your Apple device with AirPlay. The fully fenced outdoor space has a new brick patio and a beautiful garden! The cold water outdoor shower will help wash off all the sand when you come home from the beach (beach towels and beach chairs are in the downstairs closet). You can also enjoy the deck in the back of the house off the kitchen. There are three bathrooms. The main bathroom on the second floor has a tub/shower combo with a hand-held shower in addition to a regular shower head. The two en suite bathrooms on the second and lower floors each have a stand-up shower. Laundry is located on the lower level with a new high-efficiency washer/dryer that is GIANT! The second floor of the house contains four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. For easy planning, here is the layout: Bedroom 1: one queen-sized bed with en suite bathroom Bedroom 2: one queen-sized bed Bedroom 3: one queen-sized bed Bedroom 4: two twin-sized beds The lower level in-law suite has one bedroom: Bedroom 5: one queen-sized bed with en suite bathroom and additional television with AppleTV The playroom/office on the first floor also has a pullout couch. Parking includes one open-air space that is visible from the house but requires a short walk (2 minutes) with no direct access.
