Our home is located on an attractive landscaped lake front property. Bring your bathing suit, canoe (no motor boats) and enjoy a peaceful almost private afternoon paddle, and finish up with a patio dinner at one of our local wineries. Your stay includes breakfast with choices that may include quiche, fruit in season, home-made cinnamon buns and muffins, juice, tea and coffee. The Quails Roost has a queen size bed in a large room connected to a common area. There is a dedicated bathroom for your use only that is accessed from the common space which has a view of the garden.

Wonderful hosts. They were helpful and responsive, and the place was comfortable and as described. Fresh baked good awaited us, and Sunday morning they brought us freshly baked cinnamon rolls & biscotti, along with orange juice, coffee, tea, and fruit. Sitting on the pier by the lake was so wonderful and relaxing. Great stay!
Chuck & Margaret were incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts. Their beatiful Airbnb right on the Okanagan Lake makes a peaceful getaway yet is still close to surrounding wineries, lakes, and fun activities in the area. The ensuite room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. From the private dock to the morning coffee; we would highly recommend staying at Quail Crossing B&B!

Quail Crossing is located on the Okanagan lakeshore in a private home within a parklike setting where there are fish in the pond and deer and other animals such racoons that browse and numerous species of birds reside. In our garden we have quail, owls, robins, blackbirds, hummingbirds and orioles and many other birds passing through.
We live in a quiet rural setting just off Carrs Landing Road, a 10 minute drive to Winfield.

We love to travel and over our lifetime we have lived and worked in Zambia and Zimbabwe over a space of 5 years. In 1972 we drove from Bombay/Mumbai through Asia to London, England. We have also had contracts in Honduras, Philippines, Iran and Vietnam. However our Iranian contract was curtailed when the 1978 Iranian revolution occurred and we were evacuated to Greece. We have also sailed from Chile and around South America to Buenos Aires.
