Welcome to our reimagined passive solar home, centrally located in Carterville. It has a free-spirited bohemian feel without the cliche: a mix of vintage and contemporary features. 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 of which share the master bath with soaking tub & glass shower. Large open living room with original terracotta tile with multiple seating vignettes, large open windows & plants filling the space. A great home to relax & unwind. Offering 3 bedrooms, 2 which connect jack & jill style to the master bath which features a soaking tub, glass shower & double marble vanity. The open living room offers multiple seating vignettes, large windows & a hanging chair in the corner that’s perfect for reading, relaxing or enjoying a movie. It has an eclectic design, with vintage & contemporary features. This house is on one level & is easy to navigate. Outside is a covered deck with porch swing & seating, providing a serene backdrop to enjoy the open field next door. At night, it’s the perfect location to star gaze. We’re just a 5 minute walk from downtown Carterville. Centrally located within a short drive to SIU, local wineries & breweries and the Shawnee National Forest.

We loved this place and had a great time at the eclipse.
We had a fantastic time at Erin’s place. Beautiful house with space that is artistically furnished. Erin was very responsive and helpful through our stay. We will visit and stay here again in the future.
We needed a place close to Benton, IL for a girl’s trip (5 ladies) and were so lucky to be able to stay in Erin’s beautiful home. She was a perfect host—very responsive, gave me a fabulous list of recommended restaurants and spas in Carbondale, and was very understanding when a medical issue came up that could have affected our arrival. Her place is decorated like a cute boutique hotel (fun and quirky!) and is exactly what you see in the listing. It’s an older home that she has renovated beautifully. The beds and sofa are very comfortable and the bathrooms are updated nicely. More than enough room for all of us to spread out. I would definitely stay here again. It’s got to be the best AirBnB in the area!

Located in a quiet neighborhood where you can see beautiful, starry skies on a clear night. we are only a 5 minute walk to the main street. We are a 10 minute driving distance to Walker's Bluff Casino and Resort. There are also many recreational activities such as Shawnee National Forest, Giant City State Park and Crab Orchard Lake. Nearby Shawnee Hills Wine Trail is also within 20 minutes.
Parking is available in the rear of the house and also the driveway.
