Spent a great long weekend here enjoying the unspoiled and nearly 100% empty nearby beach. The house was just as described - everything new and tastefully done. Clean kitchen items and good appliances and amenities. Stovetop and kettle but no oven (there is an air fryer though). Good bathroom and bedroom and tasteful living room opening up to a nice deck looking at a green landscape with the sea just beyond. We enjoyed grilling and lounging on the outdoor furniture. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk and is perfect for long walks and sunset vistas. There didn’t seem to otherwise be easy access for the public so it was extremely peaceful. Liepaja is about 15-20 minutes away if you need groceries and restaurants. Asta was easy to work with and always very responsive. Flexible about checkin and friendly.

Even though we had some issues with the snow—we got stuck twice when getting there and once on flat land in the yard—our time at Viesuli was amazing. Our car was stuck and we couldn’t drive to get food. Luckily for us, Asta had left some porridge, rice, and noodles. The house was very warm (and had been prepared so for our arrival) and comfortable. We’ll probably try our luck in Summer to see if a stay at Viesuli can get even better.

The place is very quite-just you, the voice of the sea and some storks. The house is brand new and it was sparkling clean. Asta is very kind and helpfull. We will definetely come next year!
