Very nice host, we forgot some things in the studio and we were able to meet up with him to get them back. It was a bit small but to be expected in Hong Kong. Very nice place to stay, would recommend. (lots of stairs to go through without lift)

Really cool apartment. Very close to the market and public transport. I loved the cozy loft bed. Luis is a great host and I highly recommend staying at his place.

Luis was a great host and the apartment is absolutely terrific. Located just a few minutes away from one of HongKong busiest shopping areas this apartment invites you to explore the city like no other. The apartment is very clean, has a great decoration and gives you immediately a home feeling. In comparison to many other apartments, I found for HongKong Luis made the most of the limited space and created a nice cozy place for travelers. I can recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to spend a few days in the city.

The unit was exactly shown in the photographs. Glad that I had this opportunity. I had been to Hong Kong once a year for the past three years and I strongly believe that this unit is one of the best apartment I can get in Hong Kong in this district.

My wife and I stayed 2 weeks at Luis' apartment and enjoyed our time there. It is very conveniently located in the Prince Edward/Mong Kok area with local style restaurants and MTR access within a 5 minute walk. His place is also close to some of the main street attractions in Hong Kong such as Ladies Street and Nathan Road (5 min walk, lots of restaurants). The street you're on is very quiet at night, and we felt safe walking around after dark. The unit is well organized for a small space offering all the basic necessities. Luis has decorated his apartment very nicely and it has a modern feel to it, the pictures are accurate. It's a very clean unit and while he allows for smokers we did not smell any smoke at all! The second level/bed is accessed by a removable ladder not shown in the pictures, it's very simple and non-obtrusive. The bed is very comfortable with thick pillows. Just as a heads up, you may want to pack earplugs for sleeping as Luis' neighbour is a loud talker and this was somewhat noticable in the evening hours. This may have been more noticable to us as we are early sleepers, in the end it was not a big deal. Luis was a very good host, he gave us directions and met us in front of the building when we get off the bus. He also provided us with some fruit and nice flowers to make our stay more welcome. Much appreciated! Tips: 1) You have to try "dimdimsum" on Tung Choi Street. Best dim sum I've had! 2) From the airport take double decker bus 171 and get off at stop #5 "Metro park hotel." From there you're a 1.5 blocks from Luis' place. This is the easiest and cheapest way, no changes, cheaper than taxis. Thank you Luis for the nice home during our stay! Terry & Rhonda
