A four bedroom French farmhouse, sympathetically restored to create a light and spacious living space in a stunning rural location with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. There is a large south facing terrace and huge garden. The small swimming pool is shared with renters in the 'Pigeonnier', a separate holiday home 20 meters from the house which can be rented with the house to accommodate larger groups. FIRST FLOOR Entrance: Stone steps lead up to a terrace and the front door. Living room: The front door opens onto an extremely light open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen, with windows looking out on all sides over the surrounding countryside. There is a spacious living room space with two large sofas and an armchair, which face the wood burning stove, and extremely cosy place to be on winter evenings. There is a stereo system to which you can attach your mobile phone, and numerous board games for adults and children. Toilet and shower room: Leading off the living room is a toilet and separate shower room. Bedroom 1: Past the toilet and shower room is a bedroom which contains a single day bed which can be converted into a double (160cmX200cm). This room also contains the TV screen, and is a cosy snug for audiovisual entertainment, away from the main living area. Dining area: Adjacent to the living room is a large dining room table which seats eight people. Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, oven, large freestanding fridge and freezer, and dishwasher. The kitchen contains a breakfast table which comfortably seats four people. Patio doors lead to the large, south facing terrace. Terrace: Wooden terrace with glass panels allowing uninterrupted views across the countryside. We regularly see deer, hare and pheasants from the kitchen windows, and occasionally wild boar. GROUND FLOOR: A wooden staircase leads down to the ground floor, where there are the three main bedrooms. These are wonderfully cool in the hot summer months, and heated in winter by the woodburning stove and electric radiators. Bedroom 2 (master bedroom): A hallway leads to the master bedroom with a Kingsize bed (180mX200m) and space for hanging and folded clothes. The master bedroom contains patio doors which open out onto a ground floor terrace and the garden. Bedroom 3: A twin room with two beds and numerous books and games for children. Bedroom 4: A dual aspect bedroom which contains a single day bed with converts into two single beds. This room also contains the washing machine. Bathroom: Large bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet.
