Rural setting ideal for getting away from hectic lifestyle, my home offers stylish accommodation, peace and tranquility. 5 minutes from A55 so easily accessible for local towns, Chester, North Wales beaches . If both rooms are booked your party will have exclusive use of the main bathroom and WC. Breakfast included upstairs. Kitchenette for snacks and drinks. I live at the property but guests have separate access. All guest rooms are on the ground floor, except for breakfast where you can join host upstairs in the dining area.

My partner and I, and a friend, stayed for one night in April 2024. We are so glad we chose this host. David made us feel incredible welcome and when stormy weather made venturing out unappealing we spent a delightful evening discussing music and culture with him. The rooms were very comfy - by husband and I took the double and my friend the twin. There were lots of thoughtful little touches (I especially appreciated the home-baked treats left in the rooms). Location wise it felt like you were miles from anywhere, but actually it was quite quick to get to main roads. If we visit north Wales again this will definitely be a host we’d use again.
Jacquie & David were amazing hosts. Clean and beautifully decorated place with attention to detail everywhere from room amenities to toiletries. They made us feel welcome and went above and beyond making sure that we had everything we needed. They went an extra mile making sure little infant is properly taken care with all his requirements. The continental breakfast we had was delicious and 10/10 for David's Vegetarian English breakfast. The welcome cake box baked by David was so rewarding feels your tiredness goes away once you will taste those treats 😋 Thank you both for amazing hospitality.
Highly recommend this place especially in the middle of nature. Hope we had more days to stay in this place. David and Jackie both are so nice and welcoming always.

Rural setting on Halkyn Mountain. Sheep roam free over the common land. Great sunsets can be observed from outdoor area, as well as dark skies. Halkyn was one of the largest lead producers in Britain. Beneath the mountain is a vast network of shafts and tunnels gouged by generations of miners following the veins of lead. Limestone too has always been valued for building, fertilizer, cement and glass making and is still vital today for the construction industry.
The property is 5 minutes from the A55, making it an ideal stop over point for any of the seaside areas along the North Wales coast. The village is very rural and a car would be needed to access the area, however there is a bus service and taxis available to those without their own transport.

My main area of teaching is wellbeing, including mental health, anxiety and supporting young people to achieve the best possible life for themselves. I teach breathwork and meditation for emotional wellbeing.
