Matti und Kristina waren von Anfang bis Ende fürsorgliche und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft war liebevoll vorbereitet, inklusive einer Mappe mit nützlichen Informationen und Aktivitätsvorschlägen. Das Airbnb liegt an einem ruhigen, naturbelassenen Ort mit direktem Seezugang und freundlichen Nachbarn. Der Hof besteht aus einem 200 Jahre alten Haupthaus, einem kleinen Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern und WCs sowie einer traditionellen Hüttensauna am See. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und auf besonders hohem Niveau. Zu unserem Besuch wurde sogar schön zu Osterzeit dekoriert. Alles funktionierte und es fehlte an nichts, um eine schöne Zeit im Haus zu verbringen oder bei Ausflügen Spaß zu haben. Alles ist gepflegt und liebevoll hergerichtet. Wir genossen die Osterdekoration und die bereitgestellte Sportausrüstung. Dankbar für die wundervolle Zeit, empfehlen wir das Airbnb von Kristina und Matti gerne weiter.

Matti & Kristina were incredible hosts. They are so sweet and kind. They really took care of us and ensured that the house was fully stocked. We travel a lot and it takes quite a bit for us to fall in love with a place so quickly. We found this property and the cabins to be relaxing and magical. Our hosts offered and amazing additional excursion and it was worth every penny. Easily our best day in Finland- We fished for Salmon, ate sausages by campfire, rode snowmobiles and the hosts prepared the best salmon soup we’ve ever tasted! We couldn’t resist Kristiina’s knitted wool sweaters and gloves, we had to purchase some. We loved the fireplaces and outdoor and indoor saunas. Our first night we saw the Northern Lights directly above the cabins. It was so amazing that I will never forget it. We also loved ice fishing with the provided poles and cross country skiing (equipment provided as well). We can’t wait to come back! Worth every penny and more!

My family was so happy that we chose to stay at Matti’s place! The place really feels like home with beautiful interior design and a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed sauna, plus skis and sledges that were provided by Matti - and of course beautiful surroundings with snow and northern lights. It’s very close to Rovaniemi but also private enough so that you can enjoy quiet countryside. Cozy and warm even in extreme temperatures and big enough for the entire family. Thank you for hosting us & we definitely hope to visit this lovely countryside home again :)

Matti and Kristiina were very helpful and very nice hosts. Their location is gorgeous and the houses exceeded our expectations by far (plenty of food, well heated, beautiful decoration). The garage contains plenty of equipment for winter sports. Whenever we sent a message with a question, we promptly received a detailed answer. Myself, my wife and our children are very thankful for this opportunity to get to know Matti and Kristiina.

This place is absolutely stunningly beautiful, their are no other words to describe it, our hosts Matti & Kristiina are so welcoming and make you feel welcome right from the beginning, I had lots of questions before booking my stay and Matti answered every question and gave me invaluable answers and ideas, nothing was too much trouble, I didn’t want to drive and Matti sorted my transport out and collected us from the airport on time as promised, kept me updated on everything, when we arrived at van holma, kristiina was waiting for our arrival, I have never been taken back or felt at home like I did with this place, the atmosphere is beautiful from the moment we stepped inside it was home, they showed us were everything was, how to use the fire, the sauna, the place had all the amenities eg toilet roll, towels, laundry powder, it has everything and more, outside facilities sledging, skis, and much more, if you want a wonderful stay, this is it, it is more than you could ever dream of x
