The house and grounds were a working farm with dairy cows, a vegetable and flower garden. Trees produced plums that were dried on site in a specially equipped oven that gave off a wonderful smell. Meadows produced hay for the winter months, and the surrounding woods were the ideal place to pick porcini mushrooms at the end of the summer. The property is located in open countryside 6km from Monsegur and 8 km from the lovely village of Duras.
The house is situated between Bergerac (40 minutes) and Marmande (the A62 motorway 20 minutes) and 70 minutes from Bordeaux.
