Beautiful and cozy cabin with bedroom and living-room in a peaceful paradisiac island with a big terrain accessed with rowing boat. Solar panels (200 W) & batteries for lighting & appliances. Gas. Half big island in which you can enjoy peace, a diverse nature, mushrooms, berries, birds & beautiful sunsets. Own sauna and lake with views to the afternoon and evening sun. A bedroom with beds for 4 people (1 bigger for 2 ppl, 1 smaller and an extra mattres). Cozy livingroom and big terrace. If you like nature, like lakes, forestes, being on a rowing boat, fishing, picking up berries, grilling you will love this place. We have ahugeforest terrain, 3 hectares making it hald of the island. The lake is very big (more than 10 km long) and we are in the middle of it, so you will have a lot to explore.

hier kann man zur Natur zurück finden. eine schöne Hütte auf einer kleinen Insel. abenteuerlich zu erreichen (man muss mit einem Boot 30 Minuten bis zur Insel paddeln). Rob hat ausführliche Anweisungen geschickt um den korrekten Weg zu finden. Die Hütte und Insel sind mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet (kein Strom oder fließend Wasser) aber es war perfekt so. Am besten bringt man sich eigenes Bettzeug mit, denn es findet keine Reinigung/ kein Austausch nach Benutzung statt. wenn man das weiß, ist es auch nicht schlimm :) mit dem Boot kann man einiges transportieren. Zum Kochen gibt es einen Gasherd und Grill. Die Sauna ist gemütlich. Feuerholz ist genug vorhanden. Im See schwimmen ist auch möglich, aber der Einstieg vom Steg führt nur über große Steine und man muss etwas aufpassen. Vom See zur Hütte führt nur ein Trampelpfad (Rutschgefahr). es war ein Erlebnis, dass man so schnell nicht wieder findet. wir fanden es wunderbar und würden wiederkommen :) Danke Rob!
L'endroit est idéal, la cabane a du potentiel. Rob a prévu de régler les problèmes que nous avons rencontrés : - changement des rames et entretien général de la barque - entretien et organisation de l'intérieur de la cabane - fourniture de vaisselle de base - mise à disposition de sciure pour les toilettes sèches. La cabane et la barque conviennent jusque 4 personnes - et non pas 6 personnes comme annoncé.

There's just one other cottage or nearby neighbour 200 m far from ours in the other hald of the island. our island is just 30 meters of the mainland (if you for some reason wish to step into the mainland without going to the furtherboat harbour at some point or to simply describe you the geographicalarea a bit. We have several small and medium islands around ours, so the views are very nice and the rowing trips can be very enjoyable as well.
There are few ways to get to the cottage: by car, by public transportation plus cycle 19 or 25km (depending on which bus you take), to cycle the full 55km from the city of Kuopio or to get a taxi to reach the location. You can get all the needed instructions for any of these alternatives from me.
I have bikes parked in Kuopio which you can use.

I am Finnish-Spanish and I moved permanently to Finland from my original Barcelona in 2013. I have also lived in Belgium, Poland and Ethiopia. I like languages I guess and I speak Spanish, Finnish, Catalan, English and French can somehow get along, more or less, in Swedish. I also know some Polish (although easier to understand it than to speak it!). I like learning new things and to meet new people from different cultures. I am open-minded, calm and sociable. I would say that nature is very important to me, as I see it as the most precious --and beautiful-- thing we've got.
