This house is just a stones throw from the popular Whakarewarewa Forest with some of the world’s best Mountain Biking trails right on your doorstep. This spacious home is a great spot that overlooks the park and is in a safe and quiet area to base yourself at. It offers a single size lockable garage available for your use. Close to cafes, restaurants & fast food outlets (2 min drive or 5-10 min walk). Less than 5 kms from central Rotorua. This house has large living area with smart TV. It comes with free Amazon Prime for your viewing. The lounge has bi fold doors that open up out onto patio. There are board games/cards located in the draws of the entertainment unit under the TV. Dinning room is separate to lounge. It has a large dinning room table that comfortably seats 6. The kitchen is fully contained with all the usual amenities; Mircrowave, oven, gas top hob, fridge/freezer. All kitchen cooking and eating utensils are provided. We supply complimentary cooking oil and some breakfast condiments. Complimentary sugar, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, a few nespresso coffee pods to start you off and small 250 ml milk. Nespresso pods located in jar above coffee maker. Heating is provided by way of heat pump This is located in the dinning room (ground floor). Please do not leave heat pump on when you are not there. This can do cooling on the lower level, but will not cool the upper floor. Please be aware that the upper floor can become very hot, especially in summer. There is NO AC on the upper floor. We have provided pedestal fans for each room. We recommend that you open windows to allow air flow. Also ceiling fan in the stair well that can help with air flow. If you are someone that needs AC, then this is NOT the house for you. Washing/dryer/vacuum cleaner present should you need to use. Complimentary toilet paper and laundry powder/liquid are provided for your use during your first few nights. IF you are having longer stays, you may need to top up with your own toilet paper. There is fresh linen and towels for your use. If you are having longer stays, you may need to pop some of your towels in the washer/dryer overnight if you want fresh towels. The three bedrooms are configured by the following: Master bedroom - queen size bed Bedroom 2 - queen size bed Bedroom 3 - 2x king single beds. (total of 4 beds only). We can accommodate 6 guests comfortably. We are able to accommodate/provide a portable cot with full linen/high chair upon booking request. Please request this specifically. We don't come and do linen changes or cleaning house/rooms during your stay. If you are there for longer periods >1 week we can offer fresh linen exchange after 7 days OR you can wash your own laundry. You will need to liaise with us to advise. You might however see us collecting the outside rubbish bins or returning them back to the section. The bath/shower/toilet is located in the upper bathroom. Hand soap provided. Hairdryer provided. There is a 'half' bath on the ground floor. This has toilet and hand sink only. BBQ + table and chairs located outdoors for your use. A single-car garage that is fully lockable and available for your use should you require it. It is a great place to lock away mountain bikes or other large-size valuables like canoes/kyacks. The section is fully fenced with gate to allow safety for children or for privacy and safety reasons. Across the road is a park with full playground access. Great for when the kids are getting bored. 500 metres up the road towards Tarawera Road is a mountain bike entrance. This will link you onto all the tracks and more. Take a 5-10 minute stroll and you will find eateries, cafes, and bakeries + fast food outlets. A pharmacy is also located in the same area. We are 4 kms from town centre heading east out of Rotorua toward Redwoods. We would recommend car/vehicle for transport. There is a bus stop approx 500 metres away that can take you into town and back if required. Rotorua does not have a particularly great public transport system.
